As I know trichomes are the most precise way to know about right time. Am I wrong?

It's not how I would determine ripeness, but to each his own.

No it's not a sin but it does mean that the plant isn't ready regardless of what the trichomes look like.

I don't even bother looking at the trichomes because unlike many I realize that it's not as good of an indicator many claim it to be. Those that focus solely on the trichomes often harvest much too early.

I don't know if you're going by this chart but if you are you should stop. It's complete garbage and should not be used to determine when to harvest.
