I have a 4x3 grow tent. It's 60° in the tent without any lights on. I was looking at tents. Any suggestions? I found this on Amazon. Auto on and off when temp is reached.
Before buying anything have you tested with your lights on?I have a 4x3 grow tent. It's 60° in the tent without any lights on. I was looking at tents. Any suggestions? I found this on Amazon. Auto on and off when temp is reached.
Try and stay away from "element" heaters. Get yourself an oil filled radiant heater. I got mine at Menards on sale for $39.95 and it's working great keeping the temps where they need to be.I have a 4x3 grow tent. It's 60° in the tent without any lights on. I was looking at tents. Pelios I believe is the brand, haven't been downstairs yet tonight.Which brand?
I had controller 67. I returned it waiting on controller 69 with wifi. I picked up the inkbird temp controller. Tested with my element heater and it's working flawlessly. Have to adjust the cycle times. I set it to stay at 82 with a low of 75 and a high of 90. Building a deflector out of a steel plate or calcium silicate insulation boards. This way it keeps the air from going directly to the plant.AC Infinity - it will turn on and off based on settings you make, just order the one with the "controller" vs the push button speed remote.
Careful with the inkbird controller they are only rated for 1200w and I agree oil filled heater is best. It won’t remove humidity from your air.I had controller 67. I'm playing with the tent setup now. My RH went up to 35-40%. I didn't install an oscillating fan yet.
Buying one today. I need to look at wattage for my inkbird. My element heater was much less than 1200w. I didn't like the cycling. My seeds popped 2 days ago. I need to get them in soil today. This heater is by Newair first pic shows a view from above which shows how slim it is. It’s oil filled and connected to a thermostat controller. Keeps the tent above 74F at all times. Lights on I’m only getting as high as 78-79F. Lights at 25% of 480w max output. It ran me like 50 bucks on eBay, worth it tho. I’ve had it for 4 runs now. Just these days make sure you're maintaiIve just started using the hyper fan controller, it keeps the room at my set temps 22c night and 28c day, it adjusts both intake and outtake fans to manage the temps, it has 2 thermometers one goes in the intake the other at the canopy and a light sensor so it knows what cycle its in, I run at night so unless the outside temps are extreme the controller does a great job keeping the room very stable, I used to run an oil heater but so far I haven't had to that's a good chunk of power I can use elsewhere.

Do you have links to your heater and controllers? I need to add humidity. I threw in a vaporizer for now. Debating if I'll go with a inkbird and a smaller humidifier or a unit with a digital controller.Ive just started using the hyper fan controller, it keeps the room at my set temps 22c night and 28c day, it adjusts both intake and outtake fans to manage the temps, it has 2 thermometers one goes in the intake the other at the canopy and a light sensor so it knows what cycle its in, I run at night so unless the outside temps are extreme the controller does a great job keeping the room very stable, I used to run an oil heater but so far I haven't had to that's a good chunk of power I can use elsewhere.

I'd snip those lower branches off, they aren't going to ever reach the top of the canopy.
