I’m not sure of the validity but it was reported that the operators that have standing contracts with the city of Ottawa are refusing to hook up. If that is true they need to be sued for breach of contract and the contract ripped up and their commercial licence revoked. The pirates of the highway IMO.

I'm sure there are some sympathizers among them, but there is also profit involved, but 9 out of 10 truckers are working, including those who tow trucks. If the gov seized the vehicles and gave them to whoever could move them, then you would see the magic of greed at work and the roads cleared! They need to clear the areas being towed of idiots first though and not let and more fools in either. I'm not too sure about the cops on this one, some seem like those in the states who support Trump, if it were natives or unions doing this, I think the reaction would be much different.

I don't think tow operators will be much of an issue, they like money too much and just need to be protected and incentivized. If they wanna be a pain about it, temporarily commander their equipment, bring in the military tank movers and tow equipment, make a rule, if it gets towed, they don't get it back, the government owns it.
