On the verge of giving up!!!!

In hydro you have to maintain reservoir temps, ph and potentially deal with root rot. In soil, you water the plant.
For me "hydro" does not equal DWC. Growing in coco, no matter how you water the plant, is hydroponic growing, too.

People here make a fuss about dialing in pH as if that was the most difficult thing next to understanding String Theory. One doesn't even need electronic equipment, a simple pH test kit will do fine.

And then, the nutrient solution will have the same pH every time you mix it. Not even necessary to test it after you've done it once with your water for comparison.

I would not want to mess with root rot and reservoir temps either, which is why I don't do DWC or aeroponics, even though I find the methods fascinating.

In my opinion the admins are too lenient with extremely toxic behavior around here. There's a small group of d-bags who need to get a straight ban; things would lighten up considerably.
Ya, I try to be extra cool to the new guys. I stand up for them and then I get shit on too, but whatever. I don't like bully's. We were all new at some point, so I don't like when people shit on them for questions that might sound dumb to us now.

Thankfully people were really cool when I was asking "Is it ready yet" every few days. I would tag them, but don't want to bring them into this kinda stuff.

The leaves should not drop after watering, your watering too soon, when the plants are ready for a drink, you can't over water them, you may need to remove some water from the tray as you don't want them siting in a litre of water.
Just before potting up I drop my plant in a bucket of water, totally submerged for a good 5 minutes and pot the plants up into dry soil, the dry soil pulls most the water from the saturated soil and the roots carry on growing, reduces the shock to the root mass. 3-4 days later you water the plants as normal.
Not watering too soon. Seedlings never droop for me. Only do they droop for about 2 weeks of growth then never do it again once established in flower. Why do you think drooping is over watering? Only if the plant doesn’t recover and stays droopy for days on end.

Dry soil? One way to do it but not for me…

After watering the plants, I watch them for a good 5mins, if I have watered too soon you can see some leaves drop 2-3", some may curl, also cause the tips to claw.
When you get it spot on, the plants do not react in any way.
