it's simple dude.. do your buddies cook you dinner? do they wash your cloths? do they tell you they love you when you're feeling like shit? When you go to bed at night and wake up in the morning, is it your buddies you lay next to?

Lol...Depends on what year you're referring to, and I wash my own clothes dammit! Anyway...Whether or not we hang out...those things you listed wont change. She's still going to be my number one person, and my first choice to hang out with. Just not this weekend.

My mind isn't made up. That's just the type of person I am. I'll look at both sides and play both of them until one makes more sense than the other. Im a contemplater and thinker. Hell I'll still be thinking about it come this weekend.
Like "Damn I should have just went out with the wife." or "Damn I should have went out with the boys...or "Damn I should have found a way to incorporate both." Im trying to find a solution to make both parties happy.

then let it be her decision.. tell he ryou're goin to hang with the boy's and she's invited if she wants to go.. if not you'll be home at whatever time you come home... seems the best solution.. that way if she gets mad you can always say "well I asked you if you wante dto go, but you didn't.. thats not my fault"

I see where you're coming fromabout tryin to mak them both happy. Keep in mind though, even though that is your wife, and I'm assuming the love of your life, you gotta think about your numero Uno. I commend you for tryin to please everyone, but keep in mind you won't be able to keep your wife happy if you're not happy.

Yeah...when we got married, I thought it would be easy to keep both decks balanced, Hopefully this weekend I can do that. You're right happiness within yourself is what keeps you motivated to make others happy. Going out with my friends isn't going to make or break my happiness, but shit i'd rather go get shit faced with the boys.lol
