lol yes a bit pricy but its food grade plastic and will most likely last a lifetime ... as for their soil and nutrients , I didn't order any of that as I like to mix my own . they reccomend their soil because it is Sphagnum peat-based , which will help with water retention and wicking due to the bottom water system . I guess organic is crap to you ? Weird flex

Yeah you can also make your own grow lights , does that mean ordering a pre-built grow light from a company is a gimmick ? You can cook pasta at home for $1 , is going to an Italian restaurant a gimmick ? Why does anyone care how I spent my money lol . The system works and we are all growing our own medicine , who cares about how anyone else operates . Too many haters in this community . Was I asking if the Earthbox was worth buying or if I should make one ? Nope . I was asking a SPECIFIC question about EarthBoxes . I can tell this is like your Facebook account or something where you just run around and troll all day and don't really offer anything helpful to anyone else . I saw one of your replies on your page to a new grower who asked about topping Autos , you had the first comment and the only thing you had to offer him as a response was " Lol " . It's alright , bottom line is anyone can grow whichever way they please . whether it's right , wrong , textbook or not . No till , hydro , coco , beds , fabric pots , in the ground etc etc. I'm assuming we are both grown men , so why do you care about how I spent my money ? You think I didn't know you can build them for cheaper ? We all do the same thing in one way or another . There's just a clear difference between being a downer and being negative or trying to be funny for the forums , and actually offering up some valuable input . That's all I got to say to you .
