Some people want to dress up like Tim "The Toolman" Taylor and go to work on their DIY shindigs . That's their business ! I don't think I qualify as handsome or handy unfortunately ... what does make me ? Al Borland ? I'm fine with the purchase . and if anyone wants to make fun of me some more I bought 3 of them too . DIYers are shaking in their boots right now !! >:(>:(
I'm just laughing at your joke about being handsome. I've got nothing against Earth Boxes. I have one actually. Used it for tomatoes and rhubarb before. I'd just want to get a tray or something underneath it for indoors for the overfill hole.

I'll say this.... the earthbox is just a brand name. Not much unlike any other brand name. I use the earthbox personally. Imo it works fucking kick ass. You just have to keep up with the feedings. I also grow dwc. I notice a lot of similarity in growth rate between the two. It's one of the reasons for me getting an earthbox. Hydro growth rate, with organic living soil. The other, is being new to sips, and seeing someone else use one, and being really successful with it. I now know how to use a sip. A DIY tote sip is in my future, but for a grower that's new to sips, and may be a lil nervous about building their own, it's a good option imo. Not saying it's great, or the be all, end all, but it makes it really easy for someone new to the method.

A 22 yr old sponsored you tube grower with 2.5 yrs exp. It's all comming together now.
It's not really anything to brag that companies send you stuff. You aren't special. They send it to anyone willing to sell their soul for a light. I've declined numerous 'offers' lol. I won't sell my soul for material goods. Instead I use what I know works, and isn't gimmicky. One day you'll get it. And you'll look back and remember what I said.
Damn millennials...

$38 Earthbox?
What's up with the cover on the growbox?
Well dang, looks like they jacked the price up since I posted the link to it... The cover is a piece of burlap with some slow-release granular fertilizer packs glued to the underside. I don't/didn't use the ones that came with mine.
