Just how do you go about selling it? Do you just ask the riders if they want to buy some weed?

I've used Uber quite a bit. I've never had a driver ask me if I wanted to buy weed. If they had I would have said no. I don't see the customer base you'd be selling to. Most people riding Uber are going from point A to point B not looking to score a bag of weed from some grower that thinks his stuff is worth $10 a gram.

I think it's a stupid idea and one that will have you reported by passengers to Uber and you'll just end up banned from being an Uber driver.

If you're growing weed and it's stacking up have you thought that your weed is not as good as you think it is? Maybe growing and selling weed is not for you. As with any cash crop you need buyers. A farmer doesn't plant a field of corn hoping he'll be able to sell it come harvest time. Why do you keep growing excess amounts of weed that you're unable to sell? You should probably stick to your day job and just grow for personal use. Driving for Uber to come in contact with people so you can try and sell them weed is ignorant. Go find a street corner like all the rest of the 2 bit dealers out there.

I'm not really feeling post-legalization cannabis culture. It changed from a bunch of rebels to their dads. I get not condoning it, but thinking he'll get beaten or killed? Come on. This was an every day normal activity 10 - 20 years ago in legal states, and still happening in prohibition states. Selling small amounts of weed is probably less dangerous than being an Uber driver.
mfs Weren’t doing rideshares back in the day, that adds a whole extra layer of risk. Ain’t saying don’t deal, just don’t deal stupidly. People still get fucked up for being stupid where I’m at. Ain’t shit for a mf to be like man uber dude had some dank lemme find out where he lives then boom robbed.

When I was a teen there was a cabbie named Caesar who would pick you up and sell you whatever. It was crappy and at a bad price, but you didn't even have to know the guy. You just called him and he showed up with his overpriced schwag. He did this for years before I started smoking and kept doing it years after I stopped occasionally needing to call him. He never got busted as far as I know. He was pretty old and unhealthy, so he's probably dead now.

Who goes through all of that work to rob a gram dealer? Just be selective and don't tell them you grew it. I agree that it's a stupid idea, but I foresee the biggest problem being he won't be able to unload much. Not a lot of people are willing to buy from a stranger in a strange situation. Especially in a legal state.

I've been doing this for 7 years growing and selling. I usually get about 1.5lbs per month... I know what I am doing and my one strain is at least a 9 (I got it from someone else)... I only have about 5 customers, bc I am careful who I sell it too and also I get about $230 an oz and most people get it cheaper... My surplus isn't huge, but if I don't get another customer or 2 soon its just gonna keep growing.

this, once your qualities up you’ll have trouble growing enough to keep around. Don’t need to make but one or 2 good sales each harvest.
Thing is I grow about 1.5 lbs a month on avg and 1 person gets about 70% of it... I don't want to have 20 customers calling me for a 1/4 whenever they feel like it.

Selling outside of a licensed dispensary is illegal in every state that I know of. States want that tax revenue and the penalties are still stiff for black market selling. Look it up for your state and then imagine yourself in prison and see if you think that's an experience you would enjoy.
That may be but if they pay membership dues to club where its given away for free I dont think the cops can do shit. Because its legal it would be a civil issue
