Aero to coco?

Hi guys, I've been a hardcore living soil grower for the last couple of years. I'm looking to switch over and play around with D2W coco in hempy pots. I've been doing a ton of research and everything seems pretty straight forward, but it seems a common issue with starting seedling and cuts in coco is running into cal/mag issues or having too high EC and burning your plants I was wondering if it would be easier to start out seeds or cuts in an aero cloner for the first couple weeks then transplant into my final containers using coco/hempy. Pro's/ Con's?

I have no problems cloning directly in coco. I like root riot cubes a lot, and those can go directly into coco once roots pop through with zero issues. Clones can take a bit higher EC than seedlings. so if you start them on .8 or 1 EC of a complete nutrient line, your clones won't skip a beat. Aerocloners are fine though, and are a good way to go if you need a ton of clones.

I would not call hempy drain to waste, it is just a hempy bucket. I would not use hempy with straight coco, 50/50 cut with perlite maybe. Better off getting smart pots for coco drain to waste. Run canna nutes and you should be good.
