Another week old know it all. Mustve been kicked out of Grasscity/ILGM/Icmag huh?
Got time on your hands? Join the solo cup challenge.
In my experience anything over 15 days (in soil 1L container) will stunt the plant. Can leave for longer if you are growing in coco for they grow that much faster and therefore are able to get to a decent size.

I usually transplant day 10ish from 1L airpots to 15L final containers

They do those on every forum. Boys with too much time on their hands
When you grow weed all you have is time on your hands... It's not a 24/7 operation like that... Solo cup grows are really a skill test to cee what you can get out of one...

@Cavuccik not sure how we got from topping to transplanting  but here's my take on it. Take it with a grain of salt as I am also new to indoor. This is my girl at 6 weeks in, planted right into finishing pot (5gal). I have made mistakes along the way including snapping the main stem 2 nodes down from the top a week ago, been told that the soil and amendments I'm using for super soil are shit. Imo she's doing okay quite happy with how it's going for my first grow.

I'm going to find out first hand if transplanting makes a difference just started my second seed in a solo cup.
@Autodoctor and @Budzbuddha have been a great help along the way along with a few others here. I'm not using any pre made nutes making my own using Jadam and KNF. What I'm getting to is find what works for you go for it and have fun. Good luck and enjoy

My wife was absolutely infuriated when I showed her someone using my plant pics as their own on the internet. I took it as a compliment.

Put it in the final pot and let it grow that's my method. You guys argue just to argue
No arguing ….. you joined a forum about growing ….

let’s see your work. I’ll wait ….

:wall: I'm in the auto flowering sub talking about transplanting autos when it's supposed to be about topping yet you want to change the subject to try to expose me. Try harder troll

I'm so confused on what your comment has to do with my post? Are you insinuating I posted someone else's photo? Hahahahah

My last grow I did the solo cup thing and transplanted around 18-21 days, this time around I decided to use some slightly larger pots I have on hand for starting...they're .75gal pots that I gave a bunch of extra ventilation to the sides. I figured it would give the plants plenty of root room but also allow a deeper/wider root ball to start.

Transplant was quick and easy with absolutely no stress on the plant or roots. Once repotted, the plants are adding an inch or more a day without any pause or recovery or anything. They were not rootbound or compacted when I moved them, but here were roots reaching the outside of the pot.

If anything slightly bigger pots allowed me to water the seedlings and not have to re-water as frequently (without over/under watering) and I'm happier to give the plants a deeper rootball start.

Honestly, what are people doing that is damaging their roots such that their plants are crashing and burning after they transplant? Moist soil and enough roots that the soil/rootball stays in one piece and compact, into a pre-sized/dug hole in soil that's fully prepared and already wet enough to match the rootball, then some watering.

I transplant stuff around my property regularly, including all the starts for roses, vegetables, berries, and ornamentals...it's not rocket surgery.

Are we still talking about planting in the final pots??? I forgot about these that I'm doing right now... They all are seed in pot because the root cubes that I bought were trashcan... I don't really care how they grow, just as long as they grow 20211209_200618.jpg20211207_171315.jpg20211207_171311.jpg20211207_171307.jpg20211207_171302.jpg
