Well nature aint gotta worry about all the chlorine and shit my water ppl put in ours lol, i dont get normal tap water. I live on a mountian, my well is dry so i have it hauled and i store it

Chlorine is a micronutrient that plants use in small amounts. I use 2ml per gallon of water in my hydro res to keep it sterile.

The worry with chlorine in soil, is it killing off the microbes, more than the plant, unless it's large amounts.

Can you drink the water? Can you water houseplants with it? Odds are its fine for your cannabis too.

It's your grow, so I'm not telling you what to do. I understand your nervousness, but I think your stressing a lil too much. Your plants can sense that too. Lol

I've done slurry testing for pH with soil before planting in it, but more or less just to get a read on where it stands on its own. Overall I just pH my water to 6.5 and only check the runoff EC/PPM if I think things are getting weird.

Also, the problem with FFOF is that so many people use it for their first...but also go against advice and keep putting more nutrients in it too...which is a big fail. I've worked the other direction and moved to Pro Mix HP which seems very neutral and low in any 'charge'. That allowed me to do my first feed by day 18 without burning the plants which were sitting just past their third nodes.

New growers gonna want to mix bottles and dump shit in their water, easier to do that with a low content soil rather than something that's hot.

If people want to do FFOF probably best to follow @Budzbuddha's tutorial on how to use it and continue to top dress for success.

The biggest reason for failure for most new growers is by loving and scrutinizing their plants to death.

The rust follows the veins...weird. Don't see burnt tips which makes sense with only 1 light feed.
Something with pH or your water is blocking Ca?Or
Could they just need some extra Ca?

Thats why im fearing ph lockout. Its getting worse and going to all my plants. The biuds are not growing as i would like.....

I had a similar problem with my Wedding cake X Sundae Driver and I could never figure it out, from what I can tell your plants are enjoying the environment because the leaves are praying up towards the light. When I had this issue I just winged it until the end and I still got a decent yield and the weed was a nice smoke. I also believed it was a PH issue with my wedding cake but didn't have the funds to buy a PH pen at the time, so on my next grow when I had some spare cash I bought a PH pen and never needed to use it once, the plants enjoyed the water and feed without needing to PH the water, so I'm just as confused as you are. To me it looks like you burnt your plants up with too much nutrients but when I look at the affected leaves I'm not seeing it burning from the tips inwards, it's more in the middle of the leaf, which leads me to believe that you could have root rot. Did you say you were growing in just normal soil and not coco?

Did it start it's way from the bottom and work it's way up? Because if it did then it's highly likely that it is a mobile nutrient deficiency, either that or root rot
