Totally forgot about this one(Biker Kush). So this is another one that is beyond great. I've heard a decent amount of people say Biker Kush is one of the greatest OGs strains around. So I'd go as far to say that it's probably one of the best OG strains that's still in seed form. Your post actually reminded me that I'm sitting on a full pack of seeds of the original drop biker kush from karma genetics. This makes me happy.

Yeah back in like 2013 a lot of people posting here and other forums noticed a lot of problems with beans from CC.
The cali con thread was huge but got locked, I think like 2x back around 2012-2013. Then ggg seemed to follow cc down the tube.
I've wanted to order from cali con for a minute but not sure. My bro lives in Cali so can order directly from them too.
Its hard to know without running the gear yourself. Only people pissed off tend to then go out of their way to find forum to voice their grievances. If you have success no one hears about it...

I thought it was the opposite? Swerves old history was negative, don’t hear much bad recent times. After seeing a real pic of him with MS I think it is, I just feel bad for him now. I always liked the boss Hogg I think it was. Now he regs, fems, autos like every one else lol

After growing a few out, I really liked crunch status confirmed og jam v6. Not triangle of course, but good and the males I had looked great to cross stuff to, but a really easy og plant to grow. Slight variations to make em interesting. Cheap seeds for what you get imho.
Swerve used to be a real dick to almost everyone. I always got along with him and never had any issues with him. CC was one of the first known seed companies that started releasing real OG strains. To this day, his first release Buddha Tahoe OG was the best representation of real OG I have seen from seeds. Unfortunately, right after the first run he changed the parents. There were always tons of hermie issues, but that was a given with all OG seeds when they first came out. Seems they have stabilized the strains now more, but even still there is a strong hermie trait.
I remember one poster here that railed against CC all the time, he had a bad hermie problem and it seeded his entire crop and he was pissed. About a year later he posted again saying every seed that came out of the crop were all fem (no herms) and some of the best weed he has smoked.
It was almost always a pheno hunt to get the fire from CC, but when you found it, no one else could really compete at that point. Back then, people hated to admit it, but a lot of their "strains" came from CC crosses.

All my shit did. And I didn have to pheno hunt. You could tell the stronger genes early on. I’ll admit. Some beans outta every pack would be funky. Like leaf deformities and shit. But the good healthy ones always produced that funky ass loud kush the 2010s loved.
Essp Tahoe, skywalker, and SFV.

Also didn't swerve basically admit to fucking up and somehow sent out autos as fem or something, I remember there was alot of pissed off people. Than those weird ass pics of swerve being posted and people just clowning on him.
Have to say though cali conn had some of best ogs around in bean form. His Larry OG, Tahoe, SFV, and Deadhead are all great strains that many breeders have used in their strains today. I ran Cali's 818 Headband and it was a fire, great all around strain, also ran their green crack which also a very unique surprise seeing it ended up being a great strain(even though it wasn't real green crack since is clone only) - still tuned out absolutely fire.
Always thought swerve just kinda got a shitty reputation among breeders and growers alike. Years back though there was a time where most thought swerve and his Cali connection company were going to be the biggest brand legal MJ market. It seemed cali conn was going to ride into the legal recreational future of online seeds sales, name brand dispensaries and exclusive flower products like cookies, jungleboy, seedjunky and node labs like some of the big biz names in the weed world. Then cali conn's negative reviews and bad rep kind of halted that from happening. Pretty sure swerve still made a killing money wise though, thought I heard he collabed to do some business with cheaper seeds in Europe, maybe Spain- not 100% on that one though ? Someone else here will know.

I grew his and OG Raskals crosses. They were some of the best at the time. I remember getting purple urkle x bubblegum from Cali connect and it was some fire . Most phenos leaned urkle and didn't yield very well but were just as frosty as any strain today. Like you said most used these to breed most of what we have today. CSI is super slept on. He's basically recreating some old school crosses and making a lot of new ones and there are unicorns in his packs. I've found one myself that I messed up and now she's gone. I have the original TK cut so for a TK x T1000 cross to outshine her is insane. That Biker kush v2 is in Black Bananas that solfire breeds with. Idk if he even has the cut anymore or I'm sure he would have remade the beans already because they sell out everytime he dropped them. I've smoked some crosses with Biker kush as a father and they were all some heat.

Awesome dude!! I think it's pretty much the perfect OG, and its also one of my top medical strains. It also makes for some incredible crosses, some of my favorite strains-like Road Dawg and Old Dirty Biker. You should do a journal when you pop those seeds, I'd love to see the original batch in action! I love the breeding choices Karma makes and I grow something of his (or a cross) with each new grow.

We'll I know it's not 100% OG but I ended up deciding on the Durango OG by La Plata. Been wanting to try them for a while and just noticed they dropped some fems on SHN. Looked on their IG and holy balls that shit looks fire. Any of you guys ran it?

I did the original regs from like 7yrs ago but it was all rubber/gas/sour. Not overpowering rubber more even with the funky gas. Resin for days I have a pic but it's on my laptop but looks like all the resin rail pics ppl post. Nice uniform f3s Small to medium size buds and strong indica buzz
