How much water per # Gallon Pot?

Well let's see if my math is correct 1500 liters is about 396 gallons +\- a once or 2... 1 gallon= 3.785 liters...
 
That sounds about right, 2 litres water for a plant in a 5 gallon bag, but every day? If I watered everyday with that much water I'd drown them, but I suppose the temperature, air circulation & humidity also changes the parameters.I put mine in 10 gallon bags using Promix Mycorrhizae + bat guano + worm castings + sheep shit composted + hen shit pellets. IIn veg I water each 10 gallon bag with from 4 - 6 litres twice a week...any more than that and it'd be too much. Where you grow it also changes the parameters because the variables are different...like the temp., humidity, UV rate, air circulation. Like, what works for Joe out west in Oregon growing outside might not work for Jane in New York City indoors...it's relative.
 
I know right? The metric system is so much easier to work with...base of 10. I recall in college having to convert to one or the other, Imperial or Metric...Metric please. Unless the problem stated otherwise...shit, gotta use the stupid Imperial system...DANG!. lol

Depends on plant size, and how much the plant us drinking. Along with temperature, and air flow, and soil composition.

But generally 20% of Liters of soil for peat perlite, and vermiculite Medium base.

At the height of budding from a plant using a good amount of water, at 27.7c, Id use 27.7 liters of water. Thats in 75.7 liters of soil/Promix BX which is a fairly light medium.This would usually last 3.5-4 days between waterings in 75.7 liters of soil, under 100w HPS/Hortilux, and a large fan, or 2-3.

This is only a generalization using a Super Silver Haze strain/pick as an example. Many strains would use less, but few would use more than this particular plant I picked out of 250.
 
My current flower grow is about done. They are in 2.5 gallon pots and need watered twice a day, about a gallon a day with a cup or so of runoff discarded. They sit in the flooded tray and suck up the water or I'd have to water 4 times a day. Veg is when they need it. About every other day in 3.5 gal pots at 8 weeks maybe a half gallon. Pots are elevated for drainage.

Current grow temps are upper 60fs lower 70fs. Lights off about 5F lower and just under 80% humidity.
 
At maximum water usage I wouldnt use over 1 gallon of water for every 5 gallons of medium. Also it depends on what the density of the soil is.
I use 20 gallon containers of Promix BX, and for a HUGE TREE, under a 1000w Hortilux HPS, in full bloom, and the plant using the most water, I never exceed 4 gallons of water in 20 gallons Promix BX. This is for a plant that has 20oz on it. Under 1000w Hortilux HPS. At 82f-84f, and 3-5 fans running in the room. This plant will need water every 3.5 days.

I use 5 gallon fabric pots filled to between 3-4 gallons.
I used to water to run off in peat soil/perlite/worm cast/gaia and noticed the soil would be much heavier than I'd like and takes 3 or 4 days to dry and ran into some soil issues like fungas gnats. And i run lots and lots of perlite.
Now I'm running coco/perlite/worm cast/gaia 3-4 gallon with 1 to 1.5 litres and this medium is my favorite so far. Soaks like a sponge, dries daily or every other day and the plants are loving it. I can see the plants making gains daily without needing pictures for reference.
