I may make mine outdoors as well it’s the only extra space I have right now, but as far as other female plants and storing pollen I’ll look into storing, and if not I’ll be popping JTR or Vanilla Tart or Cuvée F2 to make either a cousin to Grape Lime Ricky (JTR x Querkle) or (Vanilla Tart x Querkle) or (Cuvée F2 x Querkle)No, I never stored pollen and when I make seeds, it’s outside.
Getting back into growing after family life and a teenage step-daughter took priority for a few years but Im back at it ! Can’t stay away !
Environment: 3x3 tent, with a 315 cmh and one 6 inch fan cooling with filter, exhaust is out top left of the tent, a passive 6 inch intake which is coming in the bottom right of the tent, a few clip on fans inside for circulation, I put 10 beans in my solo cups of Roots Organic this morning. T5 in there to pop seeds, but I will also be trying an LED run later on this year in this same environment.
Medium: Roots Organic through veg, for flower, the plan was to use some super soil I mixed up in November. I will get to making a better mix more coots style/no-till for my next run, but I need some better smoke ASAP.
Strain: Fermented Fruit which is Marionberry Kush x Royal Spill, by South Bay Genetics.
Experience: Grew up popping seeds in my closet with CFLs then graduating to a 2x4, then a 4x4, then a 4K sealed room in my old house, all with HPS. This is my first CMH run. Also will be trying LED later this year, I pre ordered the Crecer Lighting Panthrx II mini. Ships out around March 15th! So excited, sorry for rambling on and on...
Wish me luck my brothers and sisters, and much love to all !
in veg I go for 2-3’ above my canopy, In flower I go for 18-24” or so unless plants are too tall then closer depending on strain I’m growingHey dude. How far could you keep the lights before you noticed any stress on the leaves? Just got a CMH light and using it for the first time
Amazing, thanks buddy!in veg I go for 2-3’ above my canopy, In flower I go for 18-24” or so unless plants are too tall then closer depending on strain I’m growing
Thanks man I’ll need it last run I had a flood in my house ruin the end of my crop so I had to move it last minute out from under my 320w crecer lighting panthr x mini LED to my veg area that has a T5 in it and had four huge plants under it but they pulled through and came out as pretty killer smoke I have to say compared to what’s around me no doubt but my previous run I used CMH and not LED and my yield was slightly better and I had less larf to trim so I got better light penetration through the canopy with CMH so long story short I’m done trying out new gear I’m gonna stick with my CMH in the cooler months and LED in the warmer months to avoid heat issues as where I live most growers here use LED or major AC to combat our very hot and rather humid environmentGood luck brother
No problem man good luck with your new CMH I love them and I’m sure you will too once you see the spectrum brings out a lot of trichomes plus is bright enough to get a good yield off a 3x3 let alone much less heat than say HPSAmazing, thanks buddy!
I'll tell ya what....my Vester's Garlic Bud 98 x JTR is right about the same age as your Querkle. Yours are blowing the doors off mine....mine aren't growing nearly as fast as yours....great job!View attachment 5026293Querkle day 15 from seed
Thanks brother I appreciate the feedback and I’m starting to think might be the spectrum of my CMH but once I pop JTR or more cuvée F2 or something else under this same light I can compare more accuratelyI'll tell ya what....my Vester's Garlic Bud 98 x JTR is right about the same age as your Querkle. Yours are blowing the doors off mine....mine aren't growing nearly as fast as yours....great job!
Try CMH with LED. That's my favorite. Thanks man I’ll need it last run I had a flood in my house ruin the end of my crop so I had to move it last minute out from under my 320w crecer lighting panthr x mini LED to my veg area that has a T5 in it and had four huge plants under it but they pulled through and came out as pretty killer smoke I have to say compared to what’s around me no doubt but my previous run I used CMH and not LED and my yield was slightly better and I had less larf to trim so I got better light penetration through the canopy with CMH so long story short I’m done trying out new gear I’m gonna stick with my CMH in the cooler months and LED in the warmer months to avoid heat issues as where I live most growers here use LED or major AC to combat our very hot and rather humid environment
I would definitely do that but I’m in limited space with my 3 by 3 tent unfortunatelyTry CMH with LED. That's my favorite.
