Many states voted against it. California had voted for prop 8 which against it and it passed. Nobody tried to change the constitution you guys tried to change the definition of marriage so you shut the fuck up
That Constitution you tried to overturn and yet you also bragged about? That Constitution protects peoples right to marry whoever they want to. So shut the fuck up.

It’s just the Bay Area some of the larger cities that have the loons. Unfortunately they are polluting the rest of the state. Same for Minnesota. Used to be a nice state but the shit hole cities screw it up
yes, yes, we already know you would prefer dictatorship of majority rule.

Maybe that came off the wrong way, I didn't mean it as a good thing. We should never have even had the opportunity to vote on the rights of a specific group. It should have just been, "oh....duh, of course they can get married".

Even children??? See how shit can get twisted? I didn’t brag about shit! I stated facts. I didn’t give an opinion either way. So back at you asshole. Quit making shit up.

I see. Well, I'd have to push back on "stating facts" when referencing people in the bay supporting people's rights as being loons. There are a million other reasons to dislike them, like for fucking up the housing market like a nuke that went off in SF that extends all the way to texas, but....the rights angle isn't one of them.

I forgot I was talking to a Trumper. No, you have to stay away from the children. But then again, you guys just do what you want anyway. How many times do we have to tell your kind that rape is only for Catholic Priests to do?

That actually wasn’t what I was referring to and agree to the millions of other reasons to hate them. They move and take their bullshit with them poisoning the well for the rest of the village

I would prefer that the larger cities govern themselves and the rural do the same. A guy running an office in SF shouldn’t be able to dictate how a cattle rancher up North lives his life and vice versa. It’s like that in so many states like Washington where the city policies have nothing to do with rural communities but they get to decide. That’s why the electoral college is so important or we would have a few cities running the country

You talk like an entitled old white man. Nobody cares what you prefer. It's irrelevant. I'll explain:

IF you live in the US, and in Cali, then you live in a democracy. The nice thing about democracy is, if you can convince a majority to vote for change, things can change. Which they are. Things are changing because that's what the majority want. For example, two adults can now get married regardless of your religious hatred for people who are different from you. That's an improvement over your kind's preference for doing it in secret. But what you prefer is irrelevant.

I'm kind of embarrassed for you that I had to explain that to you.

The EC is just a 1:1 of congress. As far as I know, we've never actually needed them for their purpose.

The part that isn’t Cali feels like it is to the right of Utah.
You're saying, the parts of California where the locality doesn't match the typical Cali reputation, those parts feel like they're even further right than Utah? As someone that's lived in both Cali's, I'd have to agree.

The only one upset about this is you. Get over yourself
Why would i be upset about winning and crushing you like a bug on this? Gay marriage being banned was the soul of conservative politics for decades. We crushed you

You guys are such huge losers that you guys want to keep statues of your losers!

That is it. I’ve lived in the “rest of the state” longer than in the cosmopolis.

So you think that we should tear down all the statues of those who lost? Does that include Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull too? I have no dog in the fight about Southern politics but it’s ignorant to try to erase history by destroying historical statues. That’s shit that ISIS did. I don’t care if it’s a statue of somebody that I hate if it’s history leave it alone and quit being so easily triggered
