I live in Upstate NY Zone 4 (-20+ in winter... 40 to 60inches fo snow
i am converting a 10’ x 13’ section of my 28’ x 13’ insulated ( r13) garage. T his section is in the back of the garage with 3 outside wall. The plan is to attach 1” foamboard to all walls and floor.Cover the fb with 1/2” drywall for the walls, the floor gets 1/2” cement backer board over the fb . The ceiling will be at 7’ foam board covered with panda film, all vent equipt up in the craw space between ceiling and roof, vented through the wall up high.
Then panda film alll walls and floor.
My most immediate need is for where to bring in fresh air for the grow room. the garage is where keep the tractor for plowing the snow in winter. I f bring fresh air from there would i need a carbon filter for incoming aorta filter out the Diesel fumes (would that even work). Current plan is to make a special vent for the tractor tail pipe to vent the fumes to the outside. (It won’t get all of the fumes). any opinions no photos at this time it is just a empty space 10’x13…'thanks
