Not that I am aware of. But you claim to be in the business, which I have doubts about because you don't seem to know about the laws. I think it took that lady about a week to get her oven repaired (which was quick, ovens and fridges were months in the waiting at the time). She had to survive with just her microwave and stove-top for a week or 2. Maybe somebody could make a documentary on it. "White trash who doesn't pay her rent suffered without a working stove for 2 weeks." Some bleeding hearts would love to see it I am sure.
you should work on not being so emotional and entitled, slumlord. no one owes you rent when you leave them without an oven to cook their food.

Oh look. Himmler 2.0 has an opinion about the Jews.
Says you, the actual brown shirt pouncing on any perceived threat to the party line. The one who probably considers Hamas justified in their constant indiscriminate attacks against a sovereign nation.

If your oven went out during the supply problem when nobody could get ovens what would you do? My personal fridge went out, took about a month. Money wasn't an issue. The law states that the rent is owed, rent is owed. Things were done exactly as they are supposed to happen. But you are the type of person who if they saw a cockroach in a hotel would probably try to get out of paying the bill. The problem is that most people who have issues with landlords are just scum. If you are a good tenant the law is on your side, believe me, we can't get away with shit in my market. Unless you want your face plastered on the TV. It's the scum bags who can't take their issue to the authorities who do all the crying. Tenant tells the town, town calls me and asks what's going on. I give them logs of the complaint being received, action being taken, resident's response eta for compilation and so on. If any of that is not above the board it affects my ability to put deals together. And guess what, We've checked every store within a the state and beyond and the quickest we can get it is a few weeks etc. You think that's bad, took 3 months to get a window in.

Not surprising that you have such issues with "the town" constantly having to make sure your slumlord operation is taking m8nimal care of your hardworking tenants

Everything you’ve said in this thread makes far too much sense for him to fully comprehend. Especially the part where you took the time to explain everything in detail

hey since youre just a deranged racist right winger and dont know anything about property management let me just inform you that if "the town" is constantly contacting you based on complaints from your tenants then you are a slumlord

How cute. A sensitive nazi.

Weren’t you the one who said “white people are harder working and more capable”? Did you think we would forget that?

Again, you don’t sound like you are in the business. Most tenants in low income are there for a reason, they fcked up in life and aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed. Just because they call the town doesn’t mean their complaints are valid. Ive had people call the town to complain that they couldn’t smoke in their units. It always ends the same way, with the town and me laughing at what dumb asses the complainers are. It is very rare that something doesn’t happen the way it’s supposed to happen. And if you are a slum lord you don’t win tax credits, simple as that. Small world, word gets around. You don’t seem to understand that these properties are inspected once a year by the state, once a year by ourselves, any voucher holder gets an extra inspection etc. it’s always cheaper to fix things then to let them go. Last right up I got was for an outside metal door to a boiler room on the outside of the building, paint chipping. So let that sink in, right up for a door that residents don’t even use. People like you don’t have a clue about the realties of the business.

We've rented out a house or two. There is no worse way to make a few bucks.
That’s if you are making a few bucks. Past year so many have lost everything, and a lot because of tenants who can pay and refuse to do. No different than a bunch of punk bitches who loot a store when they see everybody else doing it. But these boards are filled with people like what’s his name there who talk a lot but are not part of the solution. Very few are. Nothing more noble than providing housing to people.

I'm super curious about my neighbors landlord. They are all powered by Jesus. The Jesus tenants destroyed the house with their devil spawn. Like all the walls were smeared with food up to about 6 or 7 feet up, all walls had holes, tile was smashed, massive holes dug in the yard with junk buried under it and a thin layer of dirt over it, etc.

Idk, it's all very funny and interesting to me.

Had one tenant, she had delusions that children were trapped in the walls. She cut open the walls and also tore wires out from a utility closet to stop the “signals.” They were for the heating system. Pipes froze and flooded 4 units. 20k in damage. I let her stay though as it wasn’t her fault, as long as she stays on her meds and doesn’t repeat. People have no idea of the damage. She can live there 5 more years and I won’t see a profit from her.
