Topdressed some kelp/neem/ malted barley flour/crustacean meal (put all through a blender) mixed with coast of maine lobster compost/perlite… put like 3/4in throughout the bed, added straw and then a little more cover crop.

Watered it in with homemade aloe/coconut powder and water from an artesian well.

For my worm bin, I was having trouble getting the worms to leave the bottom of the bin. They didn’t seem to like the cardboard ontop, so I ripped up newspaper and soaked it in. aloe/compost water snd added it the bin. I then unthawed organic fruit/banana peal and blended it in with kelp/neem/malted barley flour/oyster shell flour and a touch of coconut powder. Mixed in with a tad of compost, and added it to the top layer. Added extra paper bc fuck fungus gnats, and added a apple cider vinegar dish (tall sides.)

Truly means a lot, for real. I forgot to add I put homegrown dried comfrey in my worm “slurry” as well. I wanted to put it the topdress but some said maby not for flower.

I ordered some agsil 16 and Buildasoil craft blend for the next round. What’s your thoughts on foliar spraying in early flower? Maby not neem, but aloe and maby even spinosad? I had spider mites awhile back and have been good for like two weeks but scared of their return?

I have a 25lb bucket of Craft Blend. I don't foliar spray though.

I'd get some good EWC or vermicompost from BAS. There's beneficial insects in them that will target and kill the shit bugs like mites. I love seeing more BAS guys. My basement is full of their stuff.

Yoooo I totally would but it’s so expensive to ship, i’m like hurting not being able to get more from them. I do have some stuff though check it.

Don't know if you were wondering still but you can definitely vent into your basement with a carbon filter in the tent and still have odor control
I don’t have a tent, unless i’m being dumb. I was thinking i’d have to exhaust outside or just out of the room even if it’s just in the basement.

I struggle to keep mine up, i was doing it for “fresh” air. What’s your RH at during early and late flower? I’m hovering around 60 right now, snd 81F
It's less than 10% right now and usually is around 10%, lol.

Lower than I would prefer, but it works. I could set my fan that's exhausting outside on a controller, but I just let it run all the time.

It sounds like that’s pretty low, no? Would your plants benefit from higher RH? I wasn’t sure to be honest, figured it felt right though haha.

I just use a humidifier i got from facebook marketplace, it’s an elephant lol…

What soil recipe do you usually use?

Ya it's really low, and they would like higher RH, but they gotta deal with it, lol.

And I started with FFOF but turned it into no-till. My soil is 3 years old now.

Update on the grow. I’d love to foliar spray still, thoughts on that guys? Havnt had spider mite issues in weeks but still terrified.

First attempt at cloning, used aloe. Noticed there wasn’t a completely tight “fit” between the stem and the peat pucks, so stuffed a tiny bit of quality compost in it. It’s been like 5 days? What’s next?

Yikes they dont look good,I soak in a uncovered glass of water for 24 hrs first.Dip in powder then rockwool and into a dome with vents open a crack.Let them sit, I dont spray them and they dont wilt. After 6 days open vents and about day 8-9 I give just a little water.Day 10-12 you should see roots.

Your plants look very textbook and healthy for the most part. Try not to worry too much. Weed is just that, a weed, should only see problems if you're over-watering or suffocating the plants with love.

Ditch those clones, get yourself a clone dome of some sort (I use cake containers) and try again with new clones. Those clones are dead, I'd cull them and remove them asap as they'll only serve to invite disease/pests into the garden.

I'm sure you did everything else right; its just that they need to be sprayed every hour or two if you attempt to clone without a dome to trap the humidity. Try it again with a dome and you'll be fine.

Sometimes you don't get a "tight fit" if the stem of the clone is too small. Rather than adding more peat/compost to the jiffy pellets, you can simply squish them closed until it makes a "tight seal" around the stem.

All the best.

This is them as of last night. Is the bug in that picture a wire worm? Tim said I should put a potato around surface level and they’ll burrow in the potatoe and discard it.

Thanks for being helpful man. Other life stuff has made me a lot more on edge about my grow.

looking really good - did you end up getting an inline fan set up? I'd kill for that light... lol
No Inhavnt yet, honestly my house got messy so was working on that first but it’s clean now… and yeah, pretty much had to kill someone for that light. It was expensive but it seems like it works really well. I love the dimmer, it covers a lot of area and it doesn’t get hot at all.
