Yep, for me at least the AA/AAA/AAAA rating system is just strictly about quality ONLY while "top shelf" denotes top quality in addition to market demand for that product. So you could have perfectly grown AAAA Shishkaberry or Sweet Tooth and AAAA Gelonade or Root Beer but only the Gelonade/Root Beer would be "top shelf" as they sell for a much higher ticket in the market.

Supply and demand were going to be a given. It was the process of how legalization has been implemented that's the issue. That's from a Western Canadian's perspective who has no skin in the game but takes note of fellow Canucks that do. Or at least did at some point. It wasn't an issue to get weed before legalization, but when it was legalized, they cut the good growers out of the picture in lieu of big corporations and government backing. That would be one of probably many roots of the problem. It's like a slap in the face of the progenitors of the industry.

They always thought they were our masters. Before legalization and even now. I won't bow to be whipped like a pussy.
I'll make sure I never give them a red cent for legal cannabis EVER !!!!!!
There is a few government (things) That I make sure I never support or contribute to. And I love every second of it.

This question piqued my interest. One person on the Durham police FB mentioned that it may have been a breeding facility. Colloidal Silver might have been applied to parts of the plants stolen. Seems feasible to me.
