Unless you have a properly ventilated, even climate controlled greenhouse- MA and the rest of new england is a tough area to grow outdoors. The summers here seem to get worse every year, it's just so fucking humid and wet. July rained a shitload but not only that, even with the rain, it's was muggy and hot. The humidity was on an average around 70% which is not great to grow bud in.

Yet we persevere, I’m knew to the outdoor delivery and likely not the most tuned in to respond, this being my 1st year outdoors to be honest, but I certainly left every acquaintance that had an sweet outdoor grow in my envy. Damn, indoors (which I’m well versed) is nice but look at those dang outdoor girls... Nothing like I could do indoors. Then I found the 2020 version of this thread and walla I was hooked! I’ll still grow indoors for the “special” out of season grow but with a far greater appreciation for what the outdoor harvest brings!

Thanks Bam, coming from you that means a lot based on your own highlights! ... I’m thinking the deck grow is keeping me from a lot of the pest issues that folks get in the ground (note the pest strips you suggested
) I’m watching closely, but again staying the course. I topped (3) times early, which gives me the vertical vs. horizontal growth... so I’m looking at (32) cola branches from the (4) ladies on my first outdoor grow. I’m a wet trim guy normally, but I’ll probably revert to a dry trim on these beasty branches (beasty... at least is my hope 
... Like you I got a strain “White Wedding” that’s at least a week behind and showing Sativa traits, so I’ll pray on that one as the season closes. Thanks to all for putting up with this my first time outdoors grow. I’m eternally appreciative of the respect!

Well true be said, I’ve got some insight to share... I wanted stealth, I wanted yield and some semblance of what I try to do indoors. “Nugbuckets” credits here... but I took the “Mainline” approach and tweaked it for outdoor application. I topped (3) times symmetrically... no other lst. (This keeps the ladies circumference manageable.) With that said, I sadly overlooked or didn’t give enough credence to the warnings regarding base support... as one branch split on a single plant due to wind/wet conditions weight. Once bamboo’d w/stakes and laced (duct taped applied to split previously)... been smooth sailing so far since...

Whew.. Boy has it been a while!! Everything looks so nice... I have pretty much allowed one plant to free grow outside this year.. I will at least be spraying it for pest, as they have not been friendly this year either!
