I really don’t like roadsters, and with the vestigial top up I have serious doubts about forward visibility.

I’m looking forward to the Aptera. It has a dorky “flying car” look about it. The range and self-charging feature are the sort of thing I want to see more of.

A cold chill goes up my spine as I envision Elon, in his master chair, randomly moving in and out (oh God, pun intended?) of various Elonbots as they do.....whatever with their "owners". Don't send nasty tweats or you might regret it....
 
I posted this for discussion, sooner or later someone is gonna evolve a humanoid robot that will be able to do many tasks.
What will be the implications of that, another 10 years could see considerable progress in this area. Those with capital can afford robots to make more money and it will cause mass unemployment for menial work with a greater imbalance in wealth.

In Japan old folks are already depending on robots for companionship and help with small tasks.

You are gonna see a lot of these lithium iron phosphate batteries in low cost and midrange EVs, this format helps them to compete and can even be used as part of the vehicle structure. Another advantage these batteries have is they will last a long time, the life of the vehicle in most cases, up to 3000 charge cycles.

China is looking to take over the global car manufacturing business and it is gonna use the transition to EV's to do it. They are also building a green new grid and then the Chinese companies that built and supplied it, will be selling and installing the technology in other countries, or selling the parts for it.

The charge on my el cheapo headlight is already not lasting as long. It's less than a year old. But it was 12 bucks and I bought three of them.
