Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) wash for PM and thrips, advice?

So I’ve done some reading and found an H2O2 Wash is probably in my best interest for 2 plants I have with PM and thrips.

However, I haven’t done this process before and only have 3% H202, where online I read 35% is best. Will this still be ok if I up the dosage? I have a sprayer I’ll use before the lights go out (to minimize any leaf burn)
Also going to defoliate as the previous owners who gifted these did not take proper care. Hoping to get them healthy for the flip soon!

Just wondering what your experiences have been with this process, and if I’m ok using what I already have available mentioned above.

Too bad about your plants @Green_Alchemist ; hope they're doing better for you. Not much experience with H2O2 here but won't the 30% stuff burn your skin? You're not going to use 35% on your plants are you or did I misunderstand what you said?

Crap, meant to mention I’d be diluting it with water to a usable ratio, went with the 3% and still diluted, however I went with aleaf wash instead and sprayed with a few other things.

they’re actually doing really well now, Spent 2 weeks going to war on the issues.
It’s almost been a week since I’ve spotted any PM or thrips, checking everyday twice to make sure they aren’t coming back.

It’s been a rough ride with these girls!

I wonder how the bud "wash" trick works for pm. Cut it for harvest then soak the cuttings in a tub with peroxide and water diluted followed by rinse. Anyone ever tried it?

I’m also interested in hearing how that’s worked for others.
I saw a video by Jorge Cervantes that showed the process, though I haven’t needed to try yet.
Keeping this one in mind incase the PM decides to come back in flower (hoping it doesn’t!)

Update time:
well.. it’s back. Both actually..

did my morning checkup and noticed a thrip (squished it) but when there’s a thrip, there’s probably 10 more hiding.

went to see if I could locate anymore and boom.. PM regrowing on fan leaves. Feeling pretty bummed, but I hand washed the PM and cut the affected leaves off.
Little more defoliation to make sure I have good airflow throughout (had a couple stale spots which is where the PM came back)

going to spray tonight with another heavier solution (potassium bicarbonate, eco-soap and canola oil)
hopefully that gets them good before the flip, need to do that soon before they outveg my tent size.

oh boy, the patience with these ones.. anyone have any advice/ideas on these? Always open to suggestions or info.

I kill thrips with Spinosad, an ounce per gallon every third day in their nutrient solution (I'm in coco so I water daily). When I've had PM I used Marrone Regalia. Both work extremely well and I wouldn't be without them.

I’d love to hit them with both products, I hear awesome results from them!
However, I’m in Canada so spinosad isn’t an option for me (Canada banned it) and I can only seem to find Regalia with a high price tag (can’t afford that atm but hope to save up for future issues)

I’ve done multiple treatments of potassium bicarbonate, and a spraying of baking sofa/eco-soap/canola oil.

Hoping to avoid these issues when I flip to flower, really don’t want to lose any buds or make my medicine unfit to smoke

I’ll keep this in mind! I’m trying to avoid having to purchase fungicides or pesticides as my lady and I are quite strapped for cash lately.

I’ve been using homemade solutions with decent results, just not 100% success. Thinking of running the room above 30c as it should kill off the spores (and do a Foliar spray tonight with potassium bicarbonate to kick it’s ass) and a compost tea to strengthen them up before flower.

I’d love to stay as organic and cost efficient as I can, but I also realize if push comes to shove, I’ll need to crack my wallet and get the better product.

Hoping I don’t as I’m sure I can take care of it without fancy chemicals, but with the weeks worth of reading up on it, it seems it’s just something I’ll have to learn to live with.. hoping it’s not.
