Update … most have sexxed so decided to flip all - got some beans waiting for this set to finish .
Privada Skywalker OG ( large pot )
KKP S1 ( Durban poison x GG4 )
Testers ( DCSE Purple Snow Bubba x GG4 X Predator Pink )
I was going to top some of bags one more time but decided to just flower both tents …..
Grabbed a bottle of Optic Foliar and applied during last 2 weeks , plants love it.
3x3 QB 304s with cobs ( Skywalker and testers )
4x2x6 running QB 96S / Sunblaster UV / SF1000 V2 ( kinda like this little lamp ).
Humidity percentage is 45% lately so no issues on environment for them going to bloom.
Kelp added to all watering times … last dry fert ( 3 days ago ) which should power next 2 weeks ( preflower / stretch ) just fine before
moving to bloom nute. Might do a comparison grow with bloom nute ( ultra bloom [ recipe 420 ] / GH MAXIBLOOM ) with set of bags.

What size space are you lighting with it? What height do you have? I'm running my 4 board Diablo at 400 watts and it's plenty in a 4x4 space. In a 2x4 I'd run that light at 250 watts or less. In a 4x4 I'd run it full power. That 3 board light is the equivalent of almost 7 QB 288! You want a PPF of 900-1000 in a garden without CO2 enhancement.

KKP / Tester grows / Skywalker OG
LST constantly during this preflower time . Thirsty girls ( every other day ) with Kellogg kelp . Top dressed with ffof and ewc . Minor defol over last week.
QB 96s are doing well and no issues.
Skywalker and testers are under QB304s .
QB 96s with sunblaster UV and supplemental
SF1000 ( has IR )
QB304s ( 3500k ) with citi cobs ( 3500k )
2 at back are testers ( left is natural shape ) right side is twin topped ( needs adjustment

My Layered mix is throwing shrooms …. Maybe I should try growing some spores sometime.
All are preflower and doing well … kelp in water . Cali heat is starting and they are daily drinkers . Ewc / ffof recharge top dress . I have seabird guano on standby for phosphorus bump if needed … my original layered
mix tapped out a bit too early last time.
Really trying to avoid bottles . Quantums are purring along and no issues ….
LST needing some additional adjustments but will do later today.

Question from a DIY noob. How much space do heatsinks need to have above them? I grow in a very small space with no headroom (tent is 70cm/27.5" tall). I have 7 of THESE and would probably run them with a single Meanwell HLG-185H-C1400B which would be about 26 watts per board. The easiest way to have them in my tent would put them AGAINST the top of my tent. Would 26 watts get hot enough to damage the boards if there's no space between the heatsink and the roof of the tent?
[edit] Ah it wouldn't work. I'm going to have to think of a different way to hook them up. I'm also probably going to get a 240w driver and run it dimmed.

You need some space above the light or heat will be trapped above the light raising the temperature of the fixture ans possibly damaging your tent as well as shortening the life of your light. you also need air movement near the top of the tent, an extraction fan can help with that or a small clip fan. A heatsink touching the top material of the tent will certainly damage it over time and possibly be a fire hazard.
