I just don't want to cut a bigger hole into my attic. You wouldn't be able to seal it properly for the price of ducting why fuck it up for £20 for new ducting
You could try but it will be really hard to seal have fun with that duct tape maybe you could get a old rag or something fold it 1" thick and use that and the tape could work fingers crossed for youI just don't want to cut a bigger hole into my attic.
YesCan I run a 6" Infinity fan through 4" duct work?
They make adapters that are made for this. You could try but it will be really hard to seal have fun with that duct tape maybe you could get a old rag or something fold it 1" thick and use that and the tape could work fingers crossed for you
That's what I'm talking about. Thanks guys!Yes
I've run an 8" fan on 4" exhaust @ 50% power with no issues in the past. Just sounds like a stout clothes dryer running on the outside...
You think it will be better than my 4" fan with 4" duct. Help a little better having a bigger fan right?Yes, you can. Just find a 6" to 4" reducer at a hardware store. Attach 6" side to the fan, and the 4"side to the duct work.
