Looks like the common 1000w 48v kits from ebay. I bought one to try out. They're certainly worth the $150 or so they sell for, or used to sell for.

There is no way that doesn't get ripped off by some scrapper or maybe a kid looking to make a battle bot or something with it.

You will need to share the ring video!
That’s what I told him. He is crazy. He does live next to a cop, but I don’t think they talk. I can’t believe he is so dumb about this. At least make like a mower doggie door it can go in and out of like on the garage door to keep it hidden . It’s not even hidden behind a bush !

I estimate i can get about 20miles range with these batteries, although the most i have gone is 10. I don't have much more than 10 miles in me lol. This way it leaves room for groceries...

I'm starting to look at electric bikes or a conversion kit for mine, lots of steep hills here, so variable hill assist would be nice. Something economical, Lion powered. I might even build the, or a spare 18650 battery pack myself. I could drive a bike here for about 6 to 8 months of the year, some years more, but many are cold months. I have a pretty good regular bike now, but I might convert it to an e-bike with a kit, will have to check some reviews of kits I guess. I'll also have a look to see what's new out there, I looked a few years ago and prices for batteries have come way down since then.

How many watts is the motor? 1HP= 746 Watts. Are you using Lion batteries? Amp Hour and volts?
a bought a cheap set of 4 12v sealed acid motorcycle batteries and wired them together. I had a buddy that does motorcycle repairs come over and help me with the wiring. I think I have less than $100 in the batteries.

Endless Sphere has tons of info and a killer new/used classifieds section. I bought a bunch of used tesla 18650 cells from a fellow there and built up a few packs for some other projects. I had kweld, but there are tons of inexpensive units that work really well.

I bought a $300 Schwinn trike from walmart and put another $300 into the 1000w conversion kit & batteries. Range is all about the size of your battery.
My new trike cost $3000.

A 12s4p Lion pack of 3200mAh, 18650 cells would greatly extend the range of the thing. Dunno if you can buy such a battery and charger kit though, never looked.

If you are going to convert a bike with a front wheel kit be sure you add front torque brackets to the forks, these 1000w motors have a nasty habit of twisting loose from the torque.

Word. There's no way those little sla's are doing much. Luna Cycles is a good place to get packs:

The Husqvarna grass cutting robots, a friend used to sell, had a very loud siren built-in. Since they cut grass via GPS, if you remove it from the premise, it'll activate the siren. Cool grass cutters.
