Mephisto - Fugue State and CannaCheese
Dutch Passion - CBD Compassion Lime
Sweet Seeds - Red Pure CBD
These were started in solo cups and recently transplanted to FFOF that I amended with Dr.Earth and Earthworm Castings.
Currently under 150Watt HPS, 18/6 schedule, however I'm debating on moving them into my greenhouse once I put it together.

The two flowering plants should be done soon. They are Fast Buds Jack Herer in the back and again, Mephisto's CannaxCheese, can't get enough of this stuff.
Luckily, one of them hermied when I ran a 5 pack last year and I ended up with some very viable seeds. No herm issues so far from those beans.

Nice variety of breeders. :)

Did you amend with Dr. Earth soil or one of their fertilizers? Sometimes I've cut FFOF with other less hot soil to mellow it out.

I'm sorry for your loss... Those plants look awful.

I'm not worried, and neither should be you. :bigjoint:Those plants spent most of their life in a tiny Uhaul box, with fluctuating conditions and no ph-ing or measuring anything.
I'm not disputing the necrosis galore, just its ill effects on me.

I used their fertilizer, which if I remember right is 4-6-4. My idea is to head the opposite direction and make the soil hotter. Forgot to mention, that I have it kind of layered with Happy Frog on the top and around the root ball. I intend to use water only

OK. That's how I grew photos for years and it worked, then I tried it last winter with my first indoor autos, and it was an epic fail. Could have been other factors, so it might work for you, but dry time release nutes (I used HF Fruit and Flower and Marine Cuisine) and FFOF worked really well for the first 5-6 weeks, and then took a turn for the worse and they barely survived to harvest.

All that said, when I did dry, trim, and cure them, the reports I've gotten back is that they smoked really well. The three were a DP Critical Orange Punch, and Meph Mango Smile, and a FB Gelato. I found a picture of the Gelato, gives a feel for the level of abuse.

I hope this method works well for you! And I hope you'll keep the thread going either way. :)

Thinking to put another light in the tent, temps are rather low because of this cold front BS. It was 67 in there this morning..
I have another 150watt HPS and HLG 135 kit, which is much brighter than the HPS, but runs cool so it won't help much with raising the temps. Decisions, decisions...

I've dreamed of a climate controlled grow space, but for now my situation sounds a lot like yours, I'm chasing hot and cold and monitoring and adapting. I'm a winning lottery ticket away from the fancy fully automated set ups, but I have had a lot of help from these programmable thermostat outlets, connected to either a space heater or window fan depending on whether I'm heating or cooling. I use it (mostly) for the outer room, not inside a tent. I am fantasizing about building an insulated grow room inside my detached garage... but I have not wrapped my brain around all of the possible issues.

Those thermostats look nice, thanks for sharing the link. I haven't been putting much effort into controlling the environment, it's just not feasible at the moment. I was going to look into building a room now that the state went legal, but material prices are through the roof right now because of increased demand brought on by the pandemic. That's one of the main reasons I grew autos because 24/0 light on schedule provided somewhat constant environment.

I have one, I think it's iPower brand. I was in the process of putting it up but have since changed my plans . I think I realized I already have too much going on.

I have decided to run these gals outdoors. Starting to see some issues, I think my soil mix may be wee bit too hot. They are looking rather sad

My Mango Smile which is outside has similar leaf issues, I assumed it was a reaction to the heat since that was out of control when the issue showed up. I went onto AFN because they have a decent sick plant section, but there was just too much information, too many things to chase. I tend to grow an extra or two, assuming a couple will be disappointing or won't make it. Shit happens.

Do you think you'll transplant them into the ground or into bigger pots when you put them outside, or leave them in the pots they are in?

Thats all due to root stress. Either through too hot or dry or both for too long.

If you let a plant intentionally dry out you’ll see those markings time and time again

They're loving it outdoors, have already perked up. Since I have amended the soil on the hot side, I'm going to keep them in the same 3gal containers and put them in the greenhouse. Putting the Canna x Cheese in the ground did cross my mind today while prepping the garden. I've got decent amount of those seeds so willing to experiment.
Basically I'm trying to keep these autos as an insurance, in case the photos get destroyed by bugs/elements

Makes sense, soil is hot and I was about a day late to give them some water after transplanting into 3gal.
