Nute burn or calcium issue?? Week 5 flower in soil

I've been using RO water so the only calcium they get is from my Base nutrients which does have some calcium. It's the only one out of 4 to show any issues they started week 5 of flower and have been growing very well regardless. I remember a while ago PH was very low (had a cheap meter bought a respectable one) so there's a chance it got locked out since PH was like 5.5 ever since I've watered with 6.5 RO water. I added some molasses in the last feeding for the calcium and think it may have recovered I do not see any new rust spots. But I would really like to know what it could have been. Thanks cannafam

its called fade. Week 5 fade. My girls suffer through till day 85 without a problem, if l didnt take all the damn leaves off. Epsom salts just a pinch in 5 gal every wartering will green them up.

There should be no fade at week 5...it appears to be either magnesium...burned tips as well as along the leaf edges...or potassium...hints of purple.
Watch new growth, your hypothesis sounds good, previous lockout from ph issues that may be fixed now.

Looking closer calcium lockout too with mag. Necro leaves should of been hint, bad eyes!

Too much mag and potassium? I have been using my bloom nute and I'll dial it down next feed. Thanks for the reply

l dont know about anyone else but l dont smoke leaves, soooo when leaves are green week 6,7,8 im not impressed. I like to see deterioration of my fan leaves. But to each his own. You seem to be on top of things, let me know how it goes along the way please.

Do you know how photosynthesis works? I suggest you read up on it if you don’t.

week 5 fade? You mean unhealthy plants at week 5 if you’re yellowing out?

I definitely see nute burn. Not so much cal/mag issue as much as I see pH issue. Calcium robs the oldest growth first, magnesium robs the newest growth. You have random necrosis on your leaf blades and necrotic tips. This is pH and over fertilization.

Thank you I have been feeding heavy I will feed at 50% next feed. I ph my water at 6.5 it has been at least for the last 30 days that I have feeding with consistent 6.5. I'll check my run off my to see if it's still low. Thanks

What nutrients are you using? Organic or Salts?
Organic is much more forgiving in soil, whereas salts will accumulate and the general rule is to feed and allow 10% runoff, then water only the next 2 times. So,..... feed, water, water, feed. You don't need to have runoff on just water days. Also in flower the plants prefer a slightly higher pH. But keeping the ingoing pH at 6.5 is good practice. This is true for Veg and Flower.

You don't need to measure runoff EC or pH with organics or even have runoff, only with salts.
Eitherway, I'd suggest you to brew some compost tea with that molasses, that's the only way for the cal/mag , sulfur and carbs to be extracted and rendered into a bio-availble form your plants can use. Add in some coconut water for a potassium boost and Organic acids are always important. They are chelators and very important for making elements avaliable at a much broader pH range.

Im using salt fert. all the time and feed them every watering, no runoff at all. Never.

10% of water of what L size are pots. My are 18l im wattering aprox. with 1.5l or little more. Im adding mineral water every wattering. 1 bottle on on aprox. 9l of water .They are doing great. Will Post some pics in evening..

Using Plagron (tera bloom) and green sens. aprox 80% dose.

Your playing with fire if you don't have runoff and feed every watering. It's just a matter of time before you have a lockout and are forced to flush in an attempt to save everything. Especially if your substrate is peat dominant. Peat hold nutrients thats why it has a higher CEC than Coco. Take my 20yrs of advice or don't, I wish everyone the best!!!
