How to clone and get roots like this?

This is me this time

2x snack pasta or noodle pots. 1 clear 1 white.
Holes in white for drainage.
Couple of holes in clear to not get to 100% RH inside.

straight cut and plant in coco watered with 0.6EC base nutes.

Honestly your location, water and touch change results.

Just find one that works for you.

And water those girls. LOL. Nice beyond that.

I clone in coco myself as well. Other methods work just as good. Lots are using water cloning systems but I've found that they are not worth the hassle and space for the amount of clones I take. I've used them in the past with excellent results. But these days it's just easier to put a clone in a small pot of coco and stick it to the side.

As long as those girls root. That's all that matters.

Posted this a couple of times before but this is what I've always done. Even before starting in hydro.

Current cuttings. Dirty floor...Im not a fan of soil. Lol! It sits on the floor. Sometimes I squish one under a cable. They don't seem to mind. :leaf:

I grew a lot of mushrooms before getting into weed, and found you can use the same stuff.

I took a half pint jar of water and dropped a couple tops into it and then put them into a mono tub with a shoebox fruiting inside which keeps it humid. I’ve got roots starting on day 11.

I believe Ive been there. And the substrates are universal. It is the specific fungal and microbial beneficial biology that is promoted inducing the needed symbiosis or plant being fed in English.

Im pretty happy with powergrow cloning bucket. My clones are ready in 2-3 weeks every time

I use nothing but water. Sometimes I use a little honey if I am using the rapid rooters. Otherwise water cloning two drops of bleach.

Some pHD professor guy on YouTube recommended 4 inch for the best lateral outward root growth
Because of this, I start my clones in a 4 inch wide and deep airpot straight into coco! The roots are amazing sideways and on bottom.

Anyway, i recently came across a situation when i had to make clones for someone else. Had no spare pots or medium and these cuttings were sitting in the car in a shopping bag for over an hour. Luckily they're ok now. Probably not the best method but it works.

Love that square pot. Very cool.

It was originally double the height. And I chopped it in half. 4 inch rule is referenced below by dr Carl Whitcomb
Reference :

I never start clones in solid pots as the girdling roots can cause strangulation depending on how big you grow your plant. If you do repot girdled roots, you should chop the sides and comb the roots to all face outwards.
A lot of trees planted with girdled roots eventually end up being overtaken by trees who's roots all pointed out from the very beginning.
