Update : Not enough replies/help so decided to go ahead and mix it all up and add some water. Happy to find that only the top soil was hard , underneath the soil was still nice and moist ... makes me think how over watered it was
So things are looking on track , still need help with inoculating it with mycelium if possible so that I can have some peace of mind knowing its got nice healthy stuff going. :bigjoint:
If it were me, I would just continue on as you are and just see how it plays out. I have severely neglected resting soil for longer times that you and simply just add a little compost/water and then continue on as usual as well. Things get up and rolling in no time.

I'm just confused what exactly you mean by "inoculating it with mycelium"? Like do you want to add more fungi or do you just want to see that white growth?

Hey loco ! Yes I went ahead and mixed it all up and misted some water , it was already moist under the top layer.
I saw several threads here at RIU where people had nice layer of mycelium on their soil after cooking it , I'm guessing its because they add mycorrhiza or some other product/amendment ? I cant seem to find such product on my local amazon , so wanted to know if theres like a DIY method to get healthy mycelium going instead of the white mold in my case  ... thought I read somewhere that mycelium would outgrow normal mold and that would be a good visual indication of the soil being healthy ?

I didn't want to answer this because there are people more knowledgable than I, you can buy cheap mycelium
From Amazon or eBay, if it's just a one off I'd go with that, you could also innoculate with LABS

There is also tons of info on the organic section's on here

Thanks for the video , on the first page in this thread someone wrote down how to make LAB and it did sound a lil hard to do but watching this video makes it look real easy !

Alright I found Mycorrhiza product on amazon , I am planning to plant a seed tomorrow ... should I just use it around where I'm going to sow the seed or do I mix it up with a good portion of soil ?
Usually I only see it being used when transplanting and have read people saying that mixing it in with the potting soil is of no use while others do it anyway ? Too many conflicting opinions

I'm not sure I usually put it in when transplanting etc. Some people mix it in with the soil straight off, someone more experienced will pass on a more experienced answer. If you search the forums you will find in organic section how and where to obtain it for free, it's all about the herd.

Don’t mix the myco right into the soil - not as effective as other methods. Myco needs to be in direct contact with the roots to really be of benefit and create the interaction between the roots and rhizophere you are wanting. I just roll a seed around in it before direct planting, or sprinkle a bit in a planting hole if planting a seed w/ taproot.

Most of the time I am watering it in every couple of weeks, or using it by sprinkling directly onto rootball when transplanting. Ira great stuff, I use several different varieties in combination.

Be careful about buying less than reputable brands - I stici with Great White myco, Dynamyco and NPK Raw Bloom and Veg microbes (not really myco products, but microbes and myco go hand in hand in thesoil food web

Dude..what happened? Did you eventually grow on the soil you cooked?
Sorry for such a late reply , been busy with life ... yup it went good , did lack a bit for the flowering phase since I replaced bat guano with chicken manure which is way weaker than bat guano (as per weight I suppose?) ... sometimes my autoflowers showed nitrogen toxicity with leaf tips bending down ... other than that it went great :D

Nice man..you could have added bone meal or rock phosphate top dressed for flowering. I'm from India too! Never tried soil or rather couldn't figure what I could use to cook my soil here. Started in dwc and sailing smoothly..:bigjoint:

I am doing dwc too with somewhat success.

What nutes you using @Iceman8700 ??

U mean the same as gh 3 part? You could just use the micro(8ml) and bloom(16ml)...
How many weeks are you in veg using utkarsh?
Did one with 2 months veg. It was the best smelling plant i had. Tasted great too. I flushed it for a couple of days before harvest. Grew real large. Same as 3 part GH flora series for 1/10th the cost if you buy from their website directly.
