I have no idea what the "just grow it out no matter what" person was talking about. If it's male, kill it.
That said, certainly no indication of male preflowers in the last shot, which seems good. You never know until you have confirmed pistils, so don't freak out, but those look pretty darned female to me, despite the lack of pistils. Still, time will tell, to be safe I'd consider it indeterminate for now.
