It's still a little difficult to say for sure, but those last two photos have me leaning toward herm as well (the first batch it was mostly difficult to tell, but a few looked potentially female). As it's your only plant there's no harm in watching for a little longer, some plants it's hard to say for sure until they're a little more developed.

Thanks!!! So i think the pics ive been providing havent been the greatest sorry about that. I was about to get some good ones this morning...what i see on pretty much all top nodes is a elf shoe like shape behind the stipules..its pretty consistent..i dont really see any round shapped growth or any in bunches.

These should be better.

The vast majority of your photos have been great, a few where I wish something was more in focus, but what can you do?

Anyway, I dunno, that didn't clear things up for me. The preflower that looks like it's giving you the middle finger looks male to me, a few of the middle photos are hard to say, though no visible pistils. I wouldn't give up hope until it's 100% clear.

Don't know whether you've already covered this info, but how old is the plant? Also, what's the strain?

Indica strain zkittlez og. It is about 55 days. Outdoor. My thing is its march i don't know if its flowering time yet. I was mentioning to another poster maybe i should force flower.

It should keep developing preflowers on its own and it will no doubt become clearer what you're working (soon), but for sure you could force it if you'd like to settle whether it's investing any more time in. If you're below 14 or so hours of sunlight it might start flowering on its own. Personally I'd probably leave it, but up to you.

Keep a close eye on it, could be a nana?
It’s not a male imo. If it was the calyx would be very round.
Give it a bit more time and hope to see 2 little hairs come out.

If a tiny yellow looking banana pops out, it’s a hermie and will self pollinate and pollinate others in close proximity.
Carefully remove it from the grow area, it only pollinates when the banana opens up but still be careful as you can force it open when moving.

The clusters of balls your referring tohappens when a male is put into flowering.

And an interesting tip, a lot of the time you can identify a male before sex shows. Healthy male plants usually show more vigour in very early veg and will outgrow the females in order to rain down pollen on them when flowering is initiated.
Not 100% accurate but a good indication.

Good luck and look closely for a couple of hairs.

Man just let it keep going. When it’s fully mature it will show if it’s a female. If it doesn’t, assume it’s a male. And you can still finish it and smoke it. No reason not to if it’s the only one.

I've been noticing this so much on this forum so many of you use the word maturity wrong. A fully mature marijuana plant is a plant that's ready to be harvested. In other words a budded plant with at least a 50 to 50 Amber to clear trichome ratio. That is why you have the phrase "you don't want to harvest prematurely"... I am not trying to cause an issue but do some actual research into your marijuana terminology especially when you're trying to help someone. A marijuana plant from seed will show sex within 30 days of a 12/12 light cycle and will be nowhere near fully matured in fact it will be defined as an immature female or male plant. Google it . Its very easy to find out. For you clone users your cuttings come from a mother plant a mother plant is not a fully matured marijuana plant it is a plant not allowed to reach full maturity so you can continue taking cuts from it and make clones.

Ill be around as long as i like...and the title is newbie grower. If you're going to try and educate you should use proper terminology. Nothing you say will change that fact

I appreciate everyone's input thank you all. there is something consistent with this plant. If its a female plant its waiting for the pistils to emerge...if its a male im not sure what its waiting on. This shape is more calyx like than ball like. Thoughts?

I picked up a jewlery looper and started analyzing the node sites..for the main node sites i dont see pistils. I believe I may have found one on a extending branch..it looks like 1 pistil not 2.. any thoughts? By the way all of the calyx looking things all look the same but this one has 1 hair.

I don't know if there's some other term for it that's escaping me, but there's also sexual maturity in vegetative-stage cannabis plants, where they go from parallel petioles to alternating petioles (and then usually start showing preflowers, without entering flowering). I believe that was the topic at hand, it was certainly what I was talking about. TBH your definition seems, to me anyway, to be rooted in legal definitions of plants for plant count purposes.
