In the apps defense , im only trying it on a houseplant light but ill go put it under some watts in a few and see but im pretty sure 15k is max for any app i can find.

Okay. I find one called "Light Meter Free" that seems to work using the camera's phone. It says, at plant level, that the lux is around 40,000.

Mine just arrived.
Heat-sink is warm to the touch, driver is cool (so far) and is separated from the heat-sink.
Kinda surprised by how bright it is compared to the 315wCMH & 400wMH.

Mine seems to be working really well. I AM seeing brown spots on the lower leaves and I assume (Because it's lower leaves) that it has to do with some other issue. But, I'm getting WAY more leaves on a much shorter stalk now. With the 19Watt, the plant was very leggy, even with the light almost touching it.

If you look at the pic of the driver you can see the number XLG-100H-AB, meaning 100 watts. I don't know why they say 1000 watts unless they mean 1000 watt equivalent. https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/LED-Plant-Grow-Light-1000W-with-Samsung-Chips-and-Mean-Well-Driver-Growing-Lamps-Full-Spectrum-3000K-5000K-660nm-760nm-IR-Grow-Lights/PRD7FN8I75IXGI0

But @WubbaLubbaDubDub is right; it's a way better light than the two you mention.
Even if they mean 1000 watt equivalent its still misleading as that light is no where near 1000 watt de/hps equivalent hell you could probably veg in a 3x2 with that light but good luck getting anything worth smoking imo

To be fair, I DID get 14.5 grams off my last plant and it was grown in the same tent, only with a 19 Watt light.

Hes way past that. He knows what his light draws. Hes doing fine. Hes got a nice 100w fixture. it will work just fine.

I wasnt trying to be rude. I just prefer to smoke top shelf flower. My first light was a mars ts600 one of those 600 watt equivalents . I quickly learned that i had a decent veg light.
If you put the ts600 in a small enough area , you have a nice flower light too.....

Oh, for sure! ANY advice I get is more advice than I have right now, as a noob. I appreciate every tidbit of info I get. In the end, it has helped me grow a plant, successfully. I hope to continue this trend and get more! Of course it will be because of the help from folks like you, on this forum!
