There may be better values, but I wouldn't say it's a bad light. It's a good driver with dimming so unless the PCB is really junk or the diodes aren't 301B, it's probably not so bad. They don't give good info on the spectrum, the ratio of 5k to 3k is probably high and that crappy graph shows a lot of blue, but who knows if it's even from that light. You can probably get good idea by just comparing to screw-in LEDs of different color temperatures. The warranty may be worthless or nearly so, but that's normal with cheap lights.

Post some good pics and measure the board temperature if you can.

The light came, today. Sorry, I have no way to measure it. I CAN tell you that it is heavy and VERY sturdy with good quality hanging gear. The light itself is crazy bright compared to the old one. I have no idea how far away or how "Dim" I need to make the dimmer...but one issue at a time.
Sadly, the plug is 3 prong and my timer is only 2 so I'm going to need a new timer. Either way...I'll keep you guys updated on how the grow goes.
Until then, here is the light spectrum chart that came with it. Is this any good?

Oh yeah. Please don't get me wrong. I am NOT that guy who buys what is suggested and then complains that you guys "made" me get the wrong one. In the end, it was my choice to get that one. If it sucks, it's my fault and no one else's. However, I think this is going to be miles ahead of my old one so...no complaints here.

If you are looking for decent entry boards ... in case you are looking for options...

SF1000 V2 ( 100w ) with dimmer and daisy chain upgradable via jumper cable ( included ) to pair more boards together. LM301b diodes and IR / meanwell.
( finished review of it for Spider Farmer ) and it was
a good board - so much so i am currently using it as a supplemental to my quantums . It has coverage for 2x2 and offer a mixed spectrum.

HLG Quantum ( R spec ) led board - solid led for grow. Start to finish . Samsung diodes and red for flower. Made in Tennessee... good customer service.

Alibaba has options too but stick with brands that many growers use .....

The one I bought is almost identical to those specs. 100W, LM301b diodes, IR and a Meanwell driver.

Thats because it is the same thing , just a "knock off brand" ....no big deal....If the diodes are real samsungs then you got a good deal.... if they are fake and work , you still got an ok deal....you will love it!

Since your only experience is with a 19 watter , i cant tell you how much to dim it but it will be quite low at first. Make sure everything looks normal to you before you start raising intensity.

You were givin an option of 240w boards (2 of what you have ) for 89 bucks. Thats the only deal out there thats going to beat yours but its from china and some folks dont like um.
If you decide to upgrade then check out mejui or kingbright on alibaba. 480w boards for 200 bucks right now. Or in my opinion , several of the 240 kits are even better...

Well...the light came with a "Distance chart" for how high above the plant it should be a different growth stages. I can do that...but what the heck is the dimmer for? How would I know that it's too bright?

If you use something on your phone , get a measurment of the old light to compare with. The dimmer is if you have no room to raise the light. Them apps only work if you use the same one and have something to compare it to.

Mine doesn't max out. I think it was just called Lux meter or something. It's got a yellow bulb for a pic I think.
