Is watering til runoff a myth?

Some say you need to water to runoff to flush the roots. But I almost never got much runoff on this plant and it grew just fine. She’s growing in dirt.

It’s got plenty of colors. A lot of brown with a touch of black. It looks more like that woman I met at that bar........HEY!!!!

I hope by “flushing” you are not talking about flushing the nutrients out during the last week of flower...old old myth. You want 30% runoff of total feed volume to ensure new nutrients get pushed through the bottom root. If you plan your feed volume and frequency, you will not overwater
