its all about Analog Pussy, 1200 mics, Astral Projection...the list goes on...
Lost a friend (again) recently. But hey, I suffer depression, so on a bad day I might cry watching a MASH rerun. Pets bring out the best in people emotionally (most of the time).well, the title says it all. come on, you guys can admit it, its a natural human thing to do, and everyone does it.
last time i cried was today (thats where i got the idea for this thread). my small kitten that my wife and i raised with a baby bottle ran outside without our knowledge. she was missing for 3 hours and i was looking for her that whole time. i cried after like 2 hours because i thought someone stole her...she is so cute and little anyone would love the chance too....i found her hiding in a box...happiest moment iv had in months.
anyways, your turn. unless your chicken?
Same here. I got a lot of people depending on me.If I start thinking about some of the hopeless things in life / my life when I'm high/trippin', or just plains sober...
Oppurtunities I've missed, decisions, etc..
Congrats on that. I last cried ALL DAY when my brother was diagnosed schitzophrenic (sp?). Changed life plans...When my mother was diagnosed with cancer two months ago... i cried and went through some serious depression
and last week when my mother was found to be cancer free after her breast and lymph nodes were removed... i cried tears of joy...
I do the same. Mom is my best friend.sometimes i get choked up thinking about what will happen when my parents die, ugh
or a large bird they fuckin live foreverpets are the greatest thing...its sad that they only live for a little while....unless you have a turtle....
I don't cry all that easily, but my husband sure does. Sometimes he's practically a water-works, such a trip that he can hide that aspect of his personality.I cried today. I cry probably once a week. I don't boo hoo, but I shed a few tears.
sounds like how my dog was when I was pretty young. she was old and it got to the point where she couldn't walk anymore. she was my best friend. I remember completely falling apart the night before she was put down. The next day was worse though. I miss her so much now....I cried a few days ago when I saw that my old dog is now pretty much completely pooping on the deck. She can't get around very well, she's old, and she's FAT (gotta be about 100lbs.). I don't know what to do for a large dog that can't get herself around because I no longer havee physical ability to do things like pick her up. I can't see putting her down just because she can't walk so well, either, so I'm frustrated. She's happy, and that's my main concern, but I think she knows what she's doing, too. I have to do right by her, I owe her at least that much and she's been too good to all the children in her years for anything less.
yeah I see what you're saying. my dog was awfully sick too when she was put down though, it wasn't just because she couldn't walk. she had arthritis too I think. that's pretty much why she couldn't walk. you think that may be the case with your dog?I had to make that decision (to put an animal down) for the first time when I was 12, it was my first "real" horse (not a pony) and it was bad how it came to be and all that. I've had to both make that decision and do the deed, on more occasions than I can even count now. It is suffering I can't stand, the death means it's over. I just can't put her to death for not being able to walk if she's still happy, you know?
No, already been down that road with the vet. She was dumped on us, back in '98, in SoCal. Where I was living is where a lot of people bring unwanted pets to "set them free", thinking they'll make their way finding food the way wild animals do. What fucking ASSHOLES. Anyway, we don't know her history, but she had an x-ray back then that showed an old back injury. The way her back legs shoot out sideways makes me think she's actually got some sort of spinal issue. There is no pain, she's very flexible, she just can't control the back legs well.yeah I see what you're saying. my dog was awfully sick too when she was put down though, it wasn't just because she couldn't walk. she had arthritis too I think. that's pretty much why she couldn't walk. you think that may be the case with your dog?
