Hello,
As per the title. I discovered my soils ph was high.
Here is the criteria
7 gal fabrics
Kis organics, bio char living soil
Week 7 from sprout, showing cal mag deficiency but its actually a ph issue.
Did slurry tests.
Used distilled water with a base of 2ppm and around 7.0ph
1 part soil to 2 parts water. Stirred vigorously every few minutes for about an hour.
I tested it unfiltered. Then again after filtering the water from the dirt via paper towel .
Unfiltered was a ppm of 627 with a ph of 7.7
Filtered was a ppm of 807 with a ph of 7.5
Presumably the paper towel cause the ppm to spike.
Anyways . Can I just use tap water that's been PHed dowm to like 6.5 and flush? Or should I dechlorinate it?
Thank you!
