An outsiders snapshot of the American Governments public education system.

Make rich areas have more money for school investment.
Because of the min wage not being a livable wage parents cannot afford to pack their children's lunch. Which leads to a life of easy fast food. Not good.

Due to cost and privatization and 'Murrica the kids get basically prison food to save on lunch's. Not good on a few levels. French students have 4 star..damn commies.

All go to school and know they are not safe due to school shootings, mass shootings., I'm sure a plan is taught to the staff and students. What a way to make your children feel and be safe... Some go to prison like schools, high fencers, metal detectors. Not Good.



Then we have people who have obviously not benefited at all from this schooling wants to take back a small sum he invested in his areas children.

And then these people are allowed to vote? I'm a grand farther twice over and I'm all for spending much more money on Australia's children and their teachers so i don't understand it but more importantly children should feel safe where they spend so much time. Then u don't feed them nice stuff when they are there...

It definitely takes a while if you're not a manlyalphaawesome as that guy above that sees everything as a masculinity competition.

That all comes from an inferiority complex btw, most commonly from parents making their kids feel small their entire lives.

Education Spending as a Percentage of GDP
Among the 34 OECD countries reporting data in 2015, 17 countries spent more than the average percentage (5%) of GDP on total government and private expenditures on education institutions for OECD countries. Norway spent the most on education as a percentage of GDP at 6.4% followed by New Zealand at 6.3%, the United Kingdom at 6.2%, and the United States at 6.1 percent.

America spends more on healthcare too, but has poor results, a national single payer system costs 1/3 and delivers better results. It's a problem of efficiency, school funding should be state wide, not neighborhood by neighborhood with rich school districts and impoverished ones, every kid deserves an even break. Remove racism and bigotry from the equation and America could have a lot of things, but fools would rather cut their own noses off to spite their faces. Republicans fuck themselves while trying to fuck those they don't like, they fuck the country and have been for awhile now, they are worse than useless.

Yeah it is like the Civil rights era never happened and the Democrats slowly had to become a party that represents 100% of our nation's population and not just 36% give or take.

The civil rights era happened even though the democrats fought a record fillabuster fight against it. How about Byrd? should his statue still stand in the democrat hall of fame?

The both sides bullshit is ridiculous. We have finally gotten to a point that we have one major political party that is representative of 100% of our nation, the first time in human history as far as I can think of. And our society is getting better at allowing 100% of our best and brightest achieve everything they can in life.

It is not time to scrap everything because people want to complain about what they think they know from listening to Hate Radio/TV/Internet trolls telling them to be upset about.

The Republicans need to get their shit together after a decade of Tea Party nonsense dragging them down. They need to stop trolling our nation and start actually legislating for everyone here.

Im really hoping that the Tea Party heavy Republicans up for re-election in the senate get destroyed and the Democrats get 60 votes in 2023 to give Biden the ability to pass some great legislation for 2 years before riding off into the sunset to let a great field of Democratic candidates run for POTUS in 2024 with a super majority in the Senate.

You're ignoring the flaw, which is that you're talking about the bible belt in the 1800's. It doesn't matter if the name of the party was the "stinky hippie earth lovers of golden sunshine", because in the bible belt in the 1800's, they were all extremely conservative. You need to understand the relative nature of these two parties and people in general. A republican in California is an Antifa terrorist in Alabama. None of us can use democrat/republican from different eras and regions and apply them to our regions today, at least not without being ridiculously disingenuous.
