Yep, racists used to have a power base in both parties, but now they are all concentrated in the republican party and the democratic party has cleansed themselves of the racist fools. The parties are polarized, but not the country and it is clear to many, including the republicans, that they are on the wrong side of history, the losing side. The days of compromise and selling minorities down the river are over, African Americans are strong in the democratic party these days and they are gonna win even bigger in 2022. The republican party has become a gang of fascist criminals fronting for right wing terrorists. They betrayed the constitution and the founding ethos of the nation.
