New general hydroponics feed chart

So general hydroponics has a new feed chart.
Im not familiar with the new chart. I’ve been using the old feed chart for the flora series, drain to waste.
the new feed chart doesn’t specify whether its drain to waste or re circulating.
I follow the old chart at 1/2 strength then slowly work my way up with the old chart but this chart is different.
Now they have a basic 3 part flora trio chart and then an advanced chart wich adds calimagic and florliciousplus along with kool bloom when in flower.

then they spit their charts to low mid and high stenght

imade a solution 5 gallons for my hempys
Back then it was 4-5-1 per gallon id use a .7 stength or something

the new chart is a little different , i used a full strength low feed schedule from their new recomendations and my ppm was at 640 with a brand new blue lab combo meter

i had to go back to .7 strenght of the original charts recomendations to bring the ppms to what it was

Be weary of the new charts recomendations
i sent gh a message asking about the new feed chart
Hopefully they’ll let me know if this new chart is better suited to our purposes

which chart we talking about? This is the one i use. but i use it at like 30-40% strength, it is just a supplement to my organic soil

GH Feed Chart.JPG

Ive seen that new advanced chart but it honestly looks pretty useless. Kool bloom is basically just double strength of the regular flora bloom (i might switch to the kool bloom because it only costs a little more per gallon and i would use half as much). "floralicious" Has an awesome name but considering it is a 2-.8-.02, it seems INSANELY overpriced.

Who knows, maybe the advanced chart is good for people who grow 100% hydroponic but those of us just giving our girls a little boost, its totally unnecessary.

Need some help, my friend. please help me. 1st-time grower here. I have a 6-day old plant growing in plain water. I bought the nutrients and the ph up/down. I want to know how do I feed them their nutrients. do I empty the reservoir and fill it with the nutrient mix or do I add some into the reservoir with the water in it?

Do you have roots? Are you growing DWC? If so yes I would dump water clean reservoir and add a little nutrients then check ph, then check ppm makes sure it's not too high . Don't know what water you are using ?

On the off chance that conceivable utilize a cF Truncheon and work to target readings on the graph. The readings depend on utilizing water with a cF of 0. To get exact objective cF esteems, take a base perusing of your plain faucet water and enhance the objective readings appeared in the diagram. 192.168.100.1 192.168.1.1

Their feed chart is a joke only designed to line their pockets and drive you nuts with 8 different bottles of overpriced water mixed with elements. If you're going to use liquid flora series is as good as you're going to get. Outstanding fertilizer and reasonably priced. Koolboom is not necessary nor are any PK boosters. Floralicous plus is about the only supplement I would ever consider buying from their line of nutrients. Everything else is just wasted snake oil. With and without silica I can tell no difference. Wasted money. Calimagic? Unnecessary. Read up on lucas formula. Even their PH up is horribly watered down. Cyco brand PH up is 3-4x more concentrated than GH's PH up. As time goes on you'll discover these things on your own. 10 years ago growers told me the same thing. I ignored them as most new growers tend to do. Trial and error. You'll figure it all out yourself as times goes on :)

Run the flora trio @ 775-850 PPM for most strains and you'll grow great dope. I'm running the maxi bloom series using lucas formula @7g/gallon with RO water. PH adjusted to 5.8. Nothing else. 872PPM. You can run maxi bloom as lucas formula @7g gallon from start to finish. It is a complete fertilizer.

These plants were on maxi with epsom salt and calcium nitrate prior to implementing the lucas formula:

I'm so sick of looking at the chart. It's not even funny. Tomorrow is the last day of fert(day 60). Plants are getting cut on day 65. As per the breeder specs. There's amber coming through. I would have cut these things by now but nope. I'll follow the Mosca instructions....for once.

I bet this stuff is going to be sleepy eyed couch glue.

I always prefer a touch of amber. The resin is stickier and the high is more narcotic. However, my maui waui is a 9 week strain and I allowed her to go 11 weeks. Hardly any amber was evident in the flowers, but they were overly ripe resulting in buds that easily fragmented into smaller pieces. If you ever wonder what is the worst that can happen if you go too long on a strain this is pretty much it. Overly ripe. It's not that the buds are of any lower quality, but the bag appeal and satisfaction of tearing open a bud is not the same due to the weakened structure of the flower itself. It was my first experience harvesting an overly ripe flower on a strain that I have grown 5 times before. I will now harvest at 9 weeks every time.

Most of the time the breeders instructions are pretty accurate give or take 7 days. Use the breeder's guidance with your own visual inspection, and you can never go wrong. I have trouble following directions quite often. Don't be me :)

I'm looking forward to it. I usually only smoke in the afternoon. 4:20 after. I want the stuff that'll make you think you took a shot of whiskey. Laid back calm down. The ending of the day.

Harvest a little early. It's a busy buzz. The type of mood you use power tools.

Flora nova bloom
I'd love to try the flora nova. I've heard nothing but great things about it. Pricey product though. I did the math for my garden and the volume of water I go through in a week and I quickly discovered it wasn't a viable solution for my garden due to cost alone. I might get a couple quarts and test it on my soil ladies. They like the good stuff and I'm willing to spend a little more for their needs, particularly because my soil plants are on a feed, water, water, feed regimen. They only get fertilizer applied once every 3 water cycles, so very little fertilizer is needed to complete a cycle in soil. Hydro is another story. I go through a 32 gallon reservoir every 2 days. It's not an astonishing amount by any means, but when you factor in 1tsp/gallon the math quickly starts working against me for cost viability :)

I like your style sir. I'll never understand why anyone grows those foo foo strains :)

By all means post some pre harvest pics when the time comes. We love pics around here!

I'm sorry but I don't do pics. The last pictures got me 32 days jail and a year of probation. Jail was solitary confinement because it didn't go as smooth as they hoped.

That broke me from posting pics.
