It's not too bad & does knock a lot of trich's off. The mesh bag catches the leaf material, but allows trich's to fall-through or get blown all over everywhere, so I'm going to try putting a garbage bag over it to catch all the goodies next time. Hand trimming definitely does a better job (depending on how dense the buds are), but takes forever.

I just got it off ebay for $300, but you can get them direct from the manufacturer (VEVOR) a bit cheaper.
If it makes it faster and less labour intensive I'm all for it. A little final manicure you don't mind but hand trimming 10 decent plants. I couldnt be buggered with that. Looks good rewerb

Yep, perfect/spectacular it's not (but then again, neither are my growing skills after only 4 years.....:P). If I was to do this by hand, I'd get a bit anal about perfection & still be at it for days. Since I don't intend on selling, I'm not fussed about "bag-appeal" & most of this lot will be going to extracts/edibles anyway.

It took me awhile to get used to how to use it (ie. how rough/gentle to be, push/pull or roll & how far to push the limit of exploitation before it would start chewing the buds to shreds), but I'm overall pretty happy with the results thus far:DSCN2885.JPG

Remember, these are not dense/rock-hard buds 'cos I chopped them a bit early. I figure leaving a bit of leaf material on the buds will slow-down the drying process, which can't be a bad thing.....

Any of you guys got any tips to get rid of thrips? My tent is fucking infested with the bastards!! I sprayed this arvo with a mix of eco oil and some neem meal tea I made, hoping that helps :(

Still got fans there. I'm all for sugar leaf on a bud as we all know but fans should come off with the machine i would of thought? Like that's the main thing u want gone i would of thought? (unless u live and are drying in a really low humidity with high heat of cause).

Sorry m8 im not sold.

I could be wrong but shouldn't pyrethrum oil with a spray schedule or white oil
Yeah was going to try pyrethrin but it isn't good to use on buds as it stays in the bud. Neem is supposed to be a little better but can leave a bitter flavour. Was hoping someone may have a magic bullet to get rid of them!
Cheers man.

Have a look at white oil then. I think if my memory serves me right, (let's hope so) that it's safe to use on fruits like citrus etc as it breaks down and washes off easily. A h202 dip at the end might be the final cleanse. I could be wrong, it's 4:30 and I haven't had a coffee yet to kick start my day

Wonder Woman. The IB's are still going & the Durban Poison got pulled because they were throwing too many balls to manage.

Probably operator error - it was the first time of using it & yeah, a few things were missed here & there.
