It looks like his tail got fucked up. Maybe bitten, and then it grew back the best it could. It's definitely a mutant rainbow though, lol.

Yeah I'm thinking it got fucked up when it was real young. Hatchery fish so maybe in the transfer or something.

He must have beeen raised in Wisconsin, to be let go in Illinois for the fall catchable trout season! LOL! We see all sorts of weird ones that get stocked in the parks.
