Salmon/trout season is just ramping up gona hit some north shores and try to get some early ones staging at mouths of rivers. Can't wait!

It's been a poor season for me up to now, lack of rain isn't helping the situation, my local is a spate river so basically no rain no salmon or sea.

It's been rainbow trout for the most part, the lack of rain doesn't have the effect of the loch with it being spring fed.

I got a nice bend in my rod yesterday!

Damn nothing better than some fish you caught yourself. I love to throw some salmon and trout on the smoker too. I can't wait lol

This was just marinated in some lemon juice and dill then cooked on the BBQ in bacon fat. Mmmmm

If im fishing for salmon that always gets eaten. I need the eggs for sturgeon fishing and my buddies love salmon. So win win there lol

We can't legally fish for sturgeon here. We have big ol' lake sturgeon. Not as big as the white out west lol but still a good tug

Yea these over here are big ass delta sturgeon. The biggest I have personally seen was 10 feet. Others I know have seen up to 12 feet long.

40-60 inches are the keeper parameters here. Outside of those sizes are catch and release.
