There can never be too many fishing threads. I miss walleye fishing in SD. I caught bigger than this one, but one of my friends wanted to have his girlfriends dad mount it and I was like whatever man, if anyone's getting it mounted it's me. He called him up and he said he'd do it for $50. Then he needed his computer fixed so I charged him $50, lol.

We have them here in CO, but nothing like SD. We constantly caught monsters there.

Fishing

Can't wait to do some fishing this spring and summer. Might give fly fishing a try. What are you folks into??? Moving west I would love to catch some salmon or trout. Here I mostly catch bluegill , bass , and catfish.

A couple of my most prized wild brown trout.





Salmon, sea trout and wild brown trout are my thing but I'm also a member of a club, we buy our rainbow trout and rear them in the loch, that's more for when the rivers low but its good fishing, there's also pike and perch in the loch/reservoir.

I'll be out in next few days looking for a salmon.

This was caught with a 6wt it led me a merry dance, almost 15 minutes before I got it to the net.

I was just looking and thinking what fk up I made taking a photo with the fish half in the water, I've a photo somewhere of it out the water, it's around the 8lb mark I reckon.

Totally irelavent.. But on that day I fished for around 6 hrs and caught nothing then landed 2 salmon within 20 minutes???

It looks like his tail got fucked up. Maybe bitten, and then it grew back the best it could. It's definitely a mutant rainbow though, lol.
