yea when I say a really long time this time I mean to the point where it is almost dying so possibly more than a week. The humidity is really low without the dome 28 percent so I think it isn’t going to go well as I think the stomata will just close the plant will stop drinking water to try and survive and than no growth at all again.

I read something on pro mix that said that over tiling or over fluffing soilless mix can cause compaction and I really fluffed and mixed it up quite a bit. I am starting to think all these problems are caused by compaction because it seems compact and a little difficult to break up. Also it seems as though the roots are having a hard time spreading out.

You're setting yourself up to fail. Just put a seed in a solo cup with holes for drainage and keep that alive.

You gta give a pic first of all or ur jus pandering . U can literally jus get cheap ass soil from a nursery (as long as fert and nutes are low )start In ur smallest container (with holes) that you possibly can and water enough that they actually sprout. After that...let em dry out almost completely before watering again . This game is trial and error ..not all seedlings are created equal not all genetics are created equal . Some plants grow more than others , and some just straight up die , pretend ur growing fr income ..start as many seedlings as you can and play the statistics , most WILL grow with the most basic amount of knowledge and some won’t..get rid of the ones that won’t friend and jus keep planting .

here is an update. 2 of the three new seedlings have sprung up today. 1 was the fully saturated pot and the other was watered only in the middle with approx 250 ml water. The one that has only about 150 ml water in the center has not popped up yet. The plants that I have had for about 3 weeks now are doing okay. They seem to have really slowed down in their growth since I have removed the humidity domes making me think that humidity is a huge part of my problem. Same thing happened in my first couple grows. I am going to leave the dome off of one of them and replace it on the other too see what difference it makes. Included are pictures of my biggest plant. Approx 3 weeks old picture 1 is taken today picture 2 was taken 4 days earlier and the 3rd picture is the plant from the side. I feel it looks a little droopy but the pot definitely still has water as it is pretty heavy haven't watered in 5 days so I am not sure if it is really drooping or if it is just me. Also I feel it is weird that it is still heavy after 5 days of not being watered it feels as if it won't be light for another 3-5 days. Same thing for the other plant. Do you feel this plant is doing okay?

Def plenty of light there , I’ve always used fluoros and CFLs and sometimes LEDs not sure about light heigth for it but unless those plants are 2 months old lol they look fine man

thanks for the reassurance. I thought they looked pretty healthy but I see all these diaries with plants that are double the size with the same strains and in the same amount of time and it is bothersome. I probably just need to fix something to make em grow a little quicker.

Don’t b swayed by these snobs on here , some of em lie about growth rate , some of em tell the truth but have a more expensive setup . But most is all about genetics in ther seeds , I think we sometimes assume all seeds are equal lol if that wer true with living things I’m suiting up fr the NFL tomorow an gettin in the hall of fame . If u know the basics and u got the light they will grow , ur plants look good at this point . They may or may not win a cannabis cup but who cares , they look healthy that’s all that matters .

You haven't given very much info about the grow to be honest. I don't know about CMH light height so I couldn't tell you.

As I said before any issue you are having is not humidity related. Why do you think it is?

My temperature is also always consistent because I am using the heater to keep it up at 24 degrees. I don't know if not having a temperature swing would have any effect like this.

I was curious if anyone could help me out? All the strains in the pictures are the same except the last picture and were watered 6 hours earlier. All are autoflowers 3 of them fastbuds zkittles and 1 a free cheese seed. My plants are growing very slowly (around 3 weeks above ground) and am not sure what the cause is. I have a myriad of problems that could possibly be causing it but I was wondering if anyone sees anything specific. I am using CMH lighting using 630 watt cmh at the moment but have a 315 watt cmh that runs a lot cooler and brings my temps to only 23 C but I can't get it close enough to my plants so I thought I should try the 630 watt. My temps are high at 29 C and 23 C at night and humidity extremely low at 30% which I was putting domes over the plants to correct and spraying the inside to add humidity but it held the heat and was getting above 30 C. I am using promix HP mixed with quite a bit of extra perlite (possibly too much as the medium doesn't stay heavy for more than 2 days it may have dried out too much a couple of times) and a bit of worm castings but not much maybe 1/3 bucket gaia green each. I am watering using EM and liquid kelp fertilizer which I use to bring the ph down to 6.0 but watered them a couple times with a ph of 6.5 approximately and 5.8. I bought them from the following website Organic Gardener's Pantry - Fundamental ingredients for plants and soil. I just did a top dress a couple days ago of worm castings because of the pale leaves but I also see them curling so I don't know if it is N toxicity or deficiency or if I possibly shocked them by pouring water too quickly on the medium.. If anyone has any suggestions as to what the major problem is I would greatly appreciate it.

I don’t necessarily disagree with that , but be real tho ...I’ve seen the dumbest rednecks in the world grow 10x as much pot in one year Outdoors , than most of these people will ever do in a lifetime . Indoors is more finicky cuz u can’t play the statistics u only got so many to work with . But don’t overplay genetics my dude ...even u have seen some seeds in the right soil , with the watering techniques , and the right approach jus not grow like others . Admit it

Growth in one day. Seems pretty slow. How long would overwatering last. Promix hp which is supposed to be hard to overwater in the first place and also in smart pots which are supposed to prevent overwatering. Not watering for a week I believe should have fixed the issue but it doesn’t seem to change unless the dome is on. Why does everyone say to keep the dome off and why would the dome cause more growth. humidity or being somewhat blocked from the light or air flow are the only things I can think of. Like I also said why would an overwatered plant grow after being watered? Picture 1 is today 2 is yesterday. I am pretty sure the colour difference is due to the camera because the perlite also looks a different colour but hasn’t been touched with water and was just as dry on the top today as yesterday.
