Hello,
I actually posted in a different thread, not knowing this was here on the forum. My apologies.
I am having a strange issue that I can't figure out with one of my GSC plants. It has had this strange, bumpy mottling since it sprouted and I keep thinking it will grow out of it, but it's in the new growth.
I am growing in soil with FFHF- I amended that with some worm castings, humus, perlite, and a bit of recharge. The soil is from the same batch as my other plants.
Light is currently a 100W LED. Plenty of distance and had it dimed down pretty low to around 100 UMOL when they were little. I have not used any additional nutes. I tested the soil in a slurry test and came up with 6.2. I water with well water that is pretty balanced, but ph it down into the low 6 area.
Started the plants in peat pellets and transferred to 1 gallon fabric pots. I started watering a bit lightly to help walk them through the bigger pots. Initially i thought possibly some water stress, though now I don't think so. I have been watering more thoroughly and letting them dry before re-watering for 2 cycles now and am still seeing the same issue. I used some Recharge, thinking there was some root stuff going on, but haven't seen much of a difference.
I am starting to think it could be some weird genetic thing with this plant. It is a little bit stunted, but seems to be growing through it kind of ok. My other GSC is more compact with normal leaves and coloring, etc. This one is a bit taller with more space between nodes.
Being that I have only 3 plants, I'm gonna keep her(unless it turns out to be some kind of virus or something) but I would love to hear anyone's thoughts on what the heck is going on!
