Thank you for sharing that, I bought a ViparSpectra tent and I like it.A lot of LEDs mentioned above are garbage, this is a solid light and priced fair.

The light that I previously posted, which I've been running for just over a week, is not a bad light, it just won't lead to massive yields. I knew that at purchase, I just needed a starter light that can perform hopefully as expected.
After spending time on this forum and through various searches on the web (put links to a site I liked below), I've been getting a better grasp on what is out there.
There are in general 3 types of LED grow lights. The classic "blurple" (which I purchased), COB (Chip on Board), and QB (Quantum Board). The first is given the name by using mostly a mix of blue and red lights on a small board and are effective, but plants use light from white light as well, so their efficacy is limited (also it's hard to see the plant under such a bright blue/purple color). The next is COB and consists of multi-LED (tiny) chips on the board, white LEDs too, which create intense light. The last is a large board with white LED diodes spread out which provides a more even spread of light and less heat. So it really narrows it down to COB vs QB.
Appreciate the suggestion again. I'll be keeping an eye on ViparSpectra as I decide on a better light in the future.
