I wouldn't use duct tape since you can see through it. I used Gorilla tape over my temp sensors and the light went right through it. Electrical tape would be better. What I finally did was just pop the little red leds out of my temp monitors. Green isn't as bad as red, but I would still cover it up if it was me.I don’t run the hurricane fan but put duct tape over the blinking lights on my hygrometer sensors. The green as far as I’ve heard is a spectrum you can use to check out the ladies during lights off and not disrupt the sleep cycle. However I would add some tape for piece of mind. Cross T’s dot i’s and all that.
Nice. I think I’m going to dissect a sensor in the near future and pull out a light. If I can manage. Great idea I’m stealing it.What I finally did was just pop the little red leds out of my temp monitors. Green isn't as bad as red, but I would still cover it up if it was me.
Ya I just used a tiny screwdriver and popped em out. Those little red leds were bright as shit in my Therm Pro sensors.Nice. I think I’m going to dissect a sensor in the near future and pull out a light. If I can manage. Great idea I’m stealing it.
Yeah man. I have a few layers of tape over the light but a tiny bit of light comes through the plastic housing and it always erked me. That shits going down.Ya I just used a tiny screwdriver and popped em out. Those little red leds were bright as shit in my Therm Pro sensors.

Tinfoil and sticky tape = lightproof and non peeling.I think they will be fine in the dark cycle of a flower room but just wanted to double check....anybody else running the hurricane super 8 fans in the flower room even in dsrk cycle?
Sorry I'm going to have to disagree, the problem isn't so much reveg it's some strains are prone to hermie and a small light leak like that might be the catalyst that straight up ruins your crop! They can't "see" green light so you're good with that but anything else needs to be COMPLETELY covered/eliminated.Green light is not able to be seen by the plants. Also tiny bits of ambient light aren't going to cause your plants to reveg lol.
I have worked in my rooms daily for many, many years, during the dark with green LED headlamps. I haven't had any issues with hermies or reveg. I am literally in my rooms a lot during the dark period with the green led, for extended periods, watering or doing other things like mixing nutes. I have grown whole rooms of weed with no seeds doing this.Sorry I'm going to have to disagree, the problem isn't so much reveg it's some strains are prone to hermie and a small light leak like that might be the catalyst that straight up ruins your crop! Exactly. Green light is fine. All other light needs eliminated during dark period.I have worked in my rooms daily for many, many years, during the dark with green LED headlamps. I agree with that, I definitely should have added to my comment any light that isn't intentionally green like literally light bulbs sold for greenhouse use during dark periods then you need to cover it.. Ideally block & stop any light of any color/kind from your plants when the dark period hits for optimal results and insurance.Sorry I'm going to have to disagree, the problem isn't so much reveg it's some strains are prone to hermie and a small light leak like that might be the catalyst that straight up ruins your crop! Hey can you link me those green LED strips? I think I will put some in my rooms, that headlamp gets annoying.I go in my room all the time with my green strips on. And have in my previous rooms as well.
