Day 22 for the bag seed. Think it was suffering from nitrogen def, but not sure. I don’t think the seed was very good. It’s really small for day 22 but I’m gonna continue to love it nonetheless. Hopefully it’ll be a girl atleast.

Another update I left out on last one, when I transplanted I mixed the ffof I had with some promix bx with michorrhizae. I’m not at all familiar with promix I got it for really cheap so said why not give it a try. Could be a huge mistake but im ready for whatever. Gonna get some liquid nutrients, likely the fox farm collection.

Quick update. The bagseed Kush grew a lot since my last post Monday night. Really starting to look good. Hopefully it’s a girl!

I got some liquid kelp in today and did a foliar spray wita hot ph’d water including the liquid kelp and epsom salt. Put the entire batches in a food grade bucket of water I had aerating with an airstone over night.

check out these leaves though, they grew out like this. Any idea what could cause it?

They didn't grow like that. There are vigilant caterpillars trying to alert the local authorities of ur crops. They must be stopped.

Capture one and stake it with a toothpick to the edge of ur pot.

If there are no caterpillars it could have been damaged while it was smaller and, in fact, grow out like that. Check under the leaves for caterpillars or cabbage loopers.

Cabbage loopers
will leave more holes than this though.

They look like this

Ahh. I don’t see anything at all. It’s weird because the cutouts are almost identical on those two leaves.
I won't judge u if you did stake them - They can be serious problems when they keep comin' back. If they had any brain at all they would get the message.

I see a hole on another leaf too though. Which is why I thought something was munching on your leaves.

Can you snap a couple more pictures? It could possibly be outgrown damage from an earlier time.

I had a similar stint recently with one of my RUNTZ crops - I did however find a thrip and murked it on sight. Told all the homies it's on sight too. Haven't had one since then

I wouldn't really worry about the leaf just mangling itself somehow... cuz us growers do nothing but love out plants right? lol

For real tho, you should be ok. anything could have caused that. Most likely while the leaf was smaller.

Yea I actually noticed them super early like when the leaves were much smaller and still opening up, I can’t imagine how it would get damaged or come out that way. Possibly the light if not a bug?

This is the result of my karate skills meeting a thrip. I did more damage than the damn sucker itself. I still blame him tho.

And to warn you, they look like specs of soil. More elongated tho.. Very hard to spot.

I see slight yellowing in ur leaves so just triple check for bugs.

If not any signs, check it off the list and call those leaves good. Move on to the yellowing of the other leaves :eyesmoke: :peace:

If you are indoors I would rule out bugs that can do that kind of damage.
My idea.. 60% less likely if indoors period & 99% less likely if you are in a tent.

Lmao I don’t blame you, thrips are a bitch.

Yea I was thinking the yellowing was from an early nitrogen def. I gave it nutrients and the yellowing stopped. What you see has been there since around last sat, the lower leaves were worse so I just took them off, it looked like the problem was moving up so I fed and it stopped the yellowing since. Hopefully it’s an actual fix. Also the plant started growing much faster post feed so I’m thinking good things. Or hoping atleast lol
