Really enjoying your work and I'm reconsidering organic after some not so great results. Regarding pests, is it just the nature of the beast when working with the soil ingredients or are they coming in some other way?

I haven't had any pest issues related to soil. Only some lovely native mite issue but nothing some sulfur couldn't put the kabash on :peace:

Green Sand is such a small component of the mix that it doesn't change to soils structure by much.
As fas as benefit, a side by side would have to be run with and without it to determine it's effect.
I kinda see it more as a mineral insurance program for future crops ;)

Time for a little garden update:

Cloning in a container with the bottom third consisting of charged organic soil mix and the upper portion just peat/perlite is a definite win!

Sweet Black Angel Seedlings are coming alone nicely

I am also finally attempting to root cuttings under timed mist indoors. Will be interesting to see how this plays out....

It's important to take into consideration that this company is testing "bioavailable" nutrient and not total stored within the soil. Meaning, bone meal and shit may not be showing available right now but may become available as it is broken down in the soil :peace:

Hey Brother! I'm totally being lazy here cause I know I could dig through the thread, but about how long did you run the soil before you had to hit it with a tea? I remember you saying it was a while, but I'm about 5 or 6 weeks from sprout, 1 week into flower. I am noticing new growth is super light green, the plants look amazing so far tho.

The tea is a judgment call.
Typically at transplants and start of flower with another mid way seemed to work well. Basically I don't see harm in it even biweekly?
That said, I am not currently using any teas. After being a hydro grower for years and looking for a simpler way, all that brewing and bs just ain't really fitting with my program :peace:

You just top dressing and watering? Adding microbes? Curious how your maintaining your soil. Loving this stuff so far, but always looking for insight, and you always look to be having great results.

Saw your soil recipe. Sorry for being lazy. So just water eh? Easier the better haha. I've been thinking about incorporating some biochar myself. Theres a worm farm near me that sells it.
