Day 70 and it was time to take these girls down. Could have squeaked out another few days but the patients are getting antsy.

Got my amendments together and blended them with a couple qt's of Bu's Blend Compost to cut the dust down before adding to the bed.

Looking great bro! You're doing no-till in the beds now right? You just shake the root balls off and then re-amend? I have to do some reading back through the thread and catch up. I haven't been getting notifications of all these updates!

I am doing Organic Recyled soil. I turn over the top layer and mix the amendments in where as No-Tillars loose their shit if you disturb anything and it seems a fuzzy cover crop is a requirement :lol:

I am trying to do Turn and Burn Organics :peace:

No. I was doing the tea thing but that get's old quick so working on just amending enough into the soil upfront.
Plants are only in the beds for the duration of the flower cycle. No vegging in beds :peace:

Nice! Just switching over from hydro.My clone mix is basic base,1 cup kelp, 1.5 cup Gaia 4-4-4.4 cups rock dust per 7.5 gallon. Cook 30 days. I just transplanted some in fingers crossed.So use to the hydro coco deal,time will tell i guess.

Do you have a journal going where we can follow your progress with the organic mixes?

I tried using peat a number of years ago, found it way to salty. When I make a soil mix for my house plants I add coco instead of peat.
I have also doubled up on earthworm castings. Can't wait to do an organic soil grow, what is your usual yield from your 4x4?

I built around 50 of these when I was in NorCal, to sell vermicompost and also make vermicompost tea that I also sold at farmers markets around the area.
When I left California I went to both Boy and Girl Scout troops taught them how to maintain the bins and gave all of the the kids. I kept my Can-O-Worms to bring back to Texas and I lost them the first winter to a big freeze.

I tried the also and lost the entire run, went out of town and came back to a full rez and a dead tent.

Quick garden update:
Side A is rocking and rolling! Flowering this run under Hortilux Blue Metal Halide. Wanna see if I can hit similar yield to previous 2 runs under HPS.

Side B was harvested and reset.
Running out a 10 Pack of the Sweet Black Angel to look for a keeper, A Ringo's Gift, and a bunch of fresh out of rooting Cherry Pie.
Should be an interesting shit show :hump:
